Rentiere<br />
Die einzigen freilaufenden Rentiere<br />
Italiens leben in knapp 2.000 m Höhe auf<br />
den Sextner Rotwandwiesen. Sie sind vor<br />
8 Jahren aus dem hohen norden Finnlands<br />
hierher gekommen und haben in der gesunden<br />
Bergluft der Sextner Dolomiten<br />
ihren Bestand verdoppelt. einmal wöchentlich<br />
können Kinder im Sommer bei<br />
der Rentierfütterung dabei sein und die<br />
außergewöhnlichen Tiere selbst füttern.<br />
Renne<br />
Le uniche renne allo stato libero in<br />
Italia vivono a circa 2000 m di altitudine<br />
sui Prati di croda Rossa di Sesto. Provenienti<br />
dalla lontana Finlandia, sono state<br />
portate qui ormai otto anni fa e, grazie<br />
alla salutare aria delle Dolomiti di Sesto,<br />
il numero dei loro esemplari è raddoppiato.<br />
Una volta alla settimana i bambini<br />
possono assistere al pasto delle renne e<br />
dar loro da mangiare essi stessi.<br />
Reindeer<br />
The only freely roaming herd of reindeer<br />
in Italy lives at almost 2000 m above<br />
sea level on the meadows of the croda<br />
Rossa/Sexten Rotwand mountain. They<br />
arrived here 8 years ago from the far<br />
north of Finland, and have now doubled<br />
in number in the healthy mountain air<br />
of the Sexten Dolomites. once a week<br />
in summer, children can watch and even<br />
help as these unusual animals are fed.<br />
