Maintenance7.2 Compressor maintenanceCaution: Before the start of any maintenance work, themains plug must be unplugged.Note: Please note the details in the compressor operationsdiaryFilter cleaning every three months1. Unscrew the attachment screw on the filter lid.2. Detach/undo the filter lid.3. Remove the filter. Release any dust by knocking the filteragainst something. If it is heavily soiled, clean the filterwith a neutral detergent, afterwards rinse with water andallow to dry in the shade.4. Refit the cleaned filter such that the finer honeycombstructure is located on the bottom side! Press the filter lidback into place by exerting pressure from above.5. Fasten the filter lid with the screw.Caution! Do not use any solvents to clean the filter, asthis may lead to damage.In general, the following must be checked:- Is any air flowing from the air outlet?- Can any abnormal noises or vibrations be heard?- Is the compressor's temperature normal or possiblyexcessive?- Does the mains power supply cable exhibit any damage?7.3 Diagnosis and faultsIn case of complaints, please first of all refer to chapter 10"Malfunctions and Remedial Measures".If it is nevertheless not possible to eliminate a fault, separatethe plant from the power supply and contact one of ourdealers or after-sales service technicians. When doing so,communicate details of the components (rating plate) andfaults as detailed as possible.Warning:Do not put the plant back into operation before a possiblefault has been eliminated. Do not undertake any further attemptsat repairing the plant yourself! Repairs must be carriedout by qualified personnel. If you have any queries in respectof service work, please contact one of our dealers orafter-sales service technicians.Spare partsPlease use exclusively original parts.Failure to do so may lead to malfunctions or defects on thecompressor.Observe the separate installation and operating instructionswith regard to maintaining the normal service intervals for thecompressor. You can obtain a spare parts list from the aftersalesservice of KESSEL.120
