MODA INTERVISTAla televisione, ho iniziato in RAI come parrucchiere ufficiale diCarmen Lasorella (famosa giornalista, ndr), quando conduceva ilprogramma “Cliché”. La televisione oggi è parte fondamentaledella mia attività, è lì che metto in pratica tutta la mia creatività.Una delle tue ultime esperienze?Mi sono lanciato in un’ennesima sfida, ho scritto un libro intitolato“Biondo platino. Il colore dei sogni” (Edizioni Efesto, ndr).Biondo platino perché è il colore del mito, Marilyn Monroe. Ilbiondo è per me il colore per eccellenza, il platino è un metalloprezioso, insieme sono un matrimonio perfetto. La prefazione èstata scritta da Carmen Lasorella, mia amica e cliente. Nel libro cisono alcuni momenti fondamentali della mia vita, che condividocon tre amiche: Alessandra Martinez, Antonella Clerici e RobertaCapua. Tre donne completamente diverse tra loro e con stili propri,ma che insieme raccontano il percorso professionale che miha portato a diventare l’uomo e il professionista che sono oggi.Cosa consiglieresti a un giovane che voglia intraprendere latua professione?Mettersi in gioco, trovare costantemente motivazioni per evolversi,saggiare la passione per il proprio lavoro, avere spirito disacrificio e fare tanta gavetta. La soddisfazione che si prova èstraordinaria, il ruolo dell’hair stylist non è più quello del sempliceparrucchiere ma è una figura a livello internazionale, chela globalizzazione ha permesso di ricondurre a specifici canoni.Tutto questo ha contribuito a fare di me il professionista che sonooggi, e trasmetto ogni giorno questi valori e consigli ai miei collaboratorinel mio salone principale a Roma. Qui, a settembre festeggerò,insieme a loro e ai miei clienti di sempre, i venticinqueanni di attività.Se potessi scegliere una donna del presente o del passato dapoter reinventare, chi sceglieresti?Il mio sogno era quello di poter pettinare Lady Diana. Sono sicuroche avrei potuto contribuire, con la mia creatività, a renderlaancora più glamour.Sogni nel cassetto?Non smetterò mai di sognare, ma il più importante sogno chevorrei realizzare è quello di incontrare Papa Francesco, unuomo carismatico. I got the inspirationfor that creation and others like it looking at the works of famousarchistars like Foster and Calatrava. Among my more significantcollaborations are the ones for television. I started at RAI TV asa official hairstylist to Carmen Lasorella (famous journalist – ed)when she was presenting the Program “Cliché”. Television is afundamental part of my work these days, it’s where I can put allmy creativity into practise.One of your most recent experiences?I embarked on my umpteenth challenge, I wrote a book “BiondoPlatino. Il Colore dei Sogni” (Platinum Blonde. The Colour ofDreams – Publisher Efesto, ed.). Platinum blonde because it’sthe colour of the legend, Marylyn Monroe. For me, blond is thehair colour par excellence. And platinum is a precious metal, sotogether they make the perfect marriage. The preface was writtenby client and friend Carmen Lasorella (the famous TV journalist– ed). The book also has some moments from my life that I sharewith 3 friends: Alessandra Martinez, Antonella Clerici and RobertaCapua. Three completely different women, each with theirown styles, but who together recall the professional career thatled me to become the man and the professional I am today.What advice would you give a young person starting out in yourprofession?Always be willing to put yourself on the line, always find reasonsfor improving yourself, always feel the passion for your work,always work with a spirit of sacrifice and get as much workingexperience as you can. The satisfaction it gives is extraordinary.The role of the hair stylist isn’t just to do with hairdressing. Weare internationally acknowledged professional figures who haveto respect certain international codes that have developed withglobalisation. All this has made me into the professional I amtoday, and these are the recommendations and values I pass on tothe people working at my main salon in Rome. Here in SeptemberI’ll be celebrating 25 years of activity, along with them and someof my most loyal clients.If you could reinvent the style of any women, past or present,who would you choose?I would have loved to style Lady Diana’s hair. With my creativityI’m sure I could have made her even more glamorous.Dreams for the future?I’ll never stop dreaming, but the most important dream I’d like tosee come true is to meet Pope Francis, he’s such a charismaticman. In his strong messages of hope I find the inspiration for myrenewed spiritual growth.
