Operating with electric generator (EG) withcombustion motor driveNOTE► The manufacturer of the stirrer does not provideany guarantee for incorrect operation ofthe stirrer with any EG.The stirrer can be operated with an EG if the followingconditions are met:- The output voltage of the EG must always bewithin the range of 230 VAC ±10%, the EG mustbe equipped with Automatic Voltage Regulation(AVR). The stirrer must not work correctlywithout this regulation and may also becomedamage.- The power of the EG must be at least 2.5 timesgreater than the connected load of the stirrer(i.e. 2.5 kW for MXP 1000/1002, 3 kW forMXP 1200)- If you operate using an EG that does not havesufficient power, the speed may fluctuate andthe power of the machine may decrease6.8 Stationary useThe stirrer can be clamped into the MSP 57 PRO-TOOL stirrer stands at the 57 mm collar [1-6].6.9 SuctionCAUTIONInhaling the dust may damage the respiratorytract.► When working with dust, you must wear respiratoryprotection and connect the machineto the suction attachment. To extract dust from the mixing container, you canconnect it to the PROTOOL MXP suction attachment.7 Service and maintenanceCAUTIONNever use a machine that is damaged in anyway! (Damage also includes a ripped or wornflexible switch protection or clamping ringprotection on the ErgoFix adapter).► Have a damaged machine repaired in an authorisedPROTOOL workshop.- To ensure safety against an accident caused byelectrical current and to retain the protectionlevel, this work must be carried out in an electricalengineering workshop that is authorisedto carry out such repairs.- The ventilation holes on the motor hood mustnot be blocked.- The machine automatically switches off if thecarbon brushes are worn. The machine mustbe sent to the workshop for maintenance work(see the supplied list).- We recommend that you clean the machine regularly.Remove any dust, residual mixing materialand any other dirt. If you use solvent-basedcleaning agents, these may damage the paintedsurfaces or the plastic parts. If you use thesecleaning agents, we recommend that you testthe effect of these agents on a small, concealedarea. The ventilation holes on the motor hoodmust not be blocked.- Commission an authorised workshop tochange brushes, the power cable etc.. Ifthe machine is knocked in any way, it is alsonecessary to entrust an authorised workshopin order to prevent any mechanical or electricaldanger arising.- The packaged machine can be stored in a dryplace without heating as long as the inside temperaturedoes not fall below −5 °C. The unpackagedmachine must only be stored in a dry, enclosed space where the temperature does notfall below +5 °C and where no extreme temperaturefluctuations occur.8 ServiceSee enclosed sheet.9 EnvironmentalProtection / DisposalPower tools, accessories and packaging should besorted for environmental-friendly recycling.Only for EC countries:Do not dispose of power tools into householdwaste!According to the European Directive 2002/96/ECon waste electrical and electronic equipment andits incorporation into national law, power tools thatare no longer suitable for use must be separatelycollected and sent for recovery in an environmental-friendlymanner.REAChREACh is a European Chemical Directive thatcame into effect in 2007.
