IDThe HEAT lamp may illuminate if the speed isset too fast for the material being laminated.Either lower the speed setting or pressSTOP and wait until the READY lampilluminates.Operation of the laminator for more than thirtyminutes at a time may necessitate a lowerspeed setting. It is recommended that, duringperiods of long runs, the items being laminatedare alternated between thick and thin. Do notcombine thick and thin items at the sametime, as this will result in a poor edgeseal around the thinner material. If you areunsure that the laminator is set at the properspeed for the item to be laminated, run a testpiece (scrap) of the same or similar materialthrough the laminator. This procedure isrecommended because rotating the heat rollerprior to lamination will more evenly distribute theheat.
