Very simple maintenance and lubrication.DescrizioneI giunti RU-STEEL a denti oscillanti tipo “ZEUS” sonoprogettati e realizzati per collegare due alberi rotantitrasmettendo in modo torsionalmente rigido unmomento torcente.Costruiti interamente in acciaio al carbonio “C 45”,sono composti da mozzi, realizzati con una dentatura“SFERICA” e da manicotti flangiati di giunzionecon dentatura “CILINDRICA”. Questo tipo di realizzazioneconsente Scorrimenti Assiali, Disallineamentie Disassamenti, compensando in buona misurainevitabili errori di allineamento nelle trasmissioni dipotenza. La coppia viene trasmessa dall’impegnoreciproco delle dentature e dalla giunzione delleflange attraverso bulloni calibrati.Un corretto montaggio, con allineamenti entro letolleranze, ed una manutenzione regolare consentonoal giunto “ZEUS” una durata notevole,mantenendo un elevato trend di qualità, si raccomandadi consultare pag. 10 di questo catalogo.A richiesta é possibile eseguire un trattamento termicodi indurimento delle dentature di lavoro incrementandonela resistenza in condizioni di lavoro“critiche”.Description:RU-STEEL couplings with floating teeth type “ZEUS”are designed and manufactured to join two rotatingshafts by transmitting a torque in a torsionaly rigidway.They are totally manufactured in carbon steel “C 45”,they are composed by some hubs, produced with a“SPHERIC” toothing and by flanged coupling sleeveswith a “CYLINDRICAL” toothing.This kind of manufacturing allows Axial Slippages,Misalignments, compensating largely for inavitablemistakes of alignement in power trasmissions. Thetorque is transmitted by the mutual engagement ofthe toothings junction of the flanges through somegauged bolts.A correct assembly, with alignments within the tolerances,and a regular maintenance allow the“ZEUS” coupling to have a long life, keeping a highquality trend, it is recommended to refer to the page10 of this catalogue.By request, it is possible to execute a thermal treatmentfor hardening the working toothings, byincreasing their resistance under “critical” workingconditions.2 PROGRAMMA DI PRODUZIONE NORMALE • NORMAL STANDARD COUPLINGS

Beyond the indicated value,it is advisable to pass to a higher size, since the heat produced bythe teeth’s rubbing compromises the value of the lubricant’s viscosity,thus facilitating the teeth’s seizure.The particular crowning of the teeth allows a ParallelMisalignment of 2.5 times the recommended one in the table, asthe exceeding of the indicated value implies the problems alreadymentioned.The manufactoring of the “ZEUS” coupling allows an AxialSlipping which is shown by the “s / 2” value.
