Team of the MonthCOAST 15 R1-Colleen played an incredible weekend of volleyball atthe 15s SCVA Regionals finishing their season taking second placefinish in the Bronze division. On Saturday, we won every match intwo. The team arrived Sunday morning at ASC ready to give it theirall. With a long day filled with 3 pool play matches and 3 playoffgames, they were ultimately unable to take down our last opponentfor the championship in the finals. Needless to say these youngwomen played a mean day of volleyball, overcoming obstacles,working as a team, and finishing the season on an amazing note ofaccomplishment. This group of 10 girls and their parents are agreat embodiment of what club volleyball is all about: improvingvolleyball skills & strategy, performing your role for the success ofthe team, and developing life-long relationships.
