<strong>Power</strong> GenerationnewsGiornata di studio AnsaldoEnergia e Università di GenovaSi è tenuta lo scorso marzo unagiornata di studio per verificarelo stato di avanzamento dell’accordodella nostra Aziendacon la Facoltà di Ingegneria.L’incontro prevedeva gli interventidel Preside Prof. G. Vernazza,del direttore del Dimset Prof.A. Satta e dell’Ad. AnsaldoEnergia Ing. G. Zampini.Questo accordo con la facoltà diingegneria asseconda sia la tendenzadell’Università ad esseresempre più aderente alle necessitàdel mondo industriale, sia la volontàdell’industria di mantenereuno stretto collegamento con icentri di ricerca di più alto livelloqualitativo.Sono emersi come aspetti positivil’interesse dei temi di sviluppolanciati da Ansaldo ed un atteggiamentomolto collaborativo daentrambe le parti.Le carenze segnalate riguardano ilcoinvolgimento ancora limitatodi altri dipartimenti e la mancanzadi laboratori congiunti.Sono state effettuate 22 presentazioniche hanno coperto 5 aree: temidi sviluppo di turbogas, turbinea vapore, impiantistica, monitoraggioe diagnostica e tecnologia.La conclusione dell’incontro èstata affidata all’Ing. Zampini ilquale ha ricordato che AnsaldoEnergia è un’Azienda ben radicata<strong>nel</strong> territorio e sensibile alletecnologie e all’innovazione, ricordandoinfine che ai 37 brevettidepositati in circa 2 anni e mezzo,l’Università ha dato un contributosignificativo.Ansaldo Energia and Genoa Universityorganise study dayLast March a study day was organisedto examine progressmade on the agreement betweenAnsaldo Energia and the GenoaUniversity Faculty ofEngineering.The keynote speakers were theDean of the University, Prof. G.Vernazza, Dimset director Prof.A. Satta and Ansaldo Energiamanaging director Ing. G.Zampini.The agreement signed with thefaculty of engineering supportsthe university’s strategy of respondingmore closely to theneeds of industry, as well as industry’sintention of maintainingclose ties with top research centres.Positive aspects to emerge includeinterest in development areasoutlined by Ansaldo and a highlycollaborative attitude on bothsides.It was accepted that more workhad to be done to improve the limitedinvolvement of other departmentsand attention was drawnto the fact that there are as yet nojoint laboratories.There were a total of 22 presentationscovering 5 main developmentareas in gas turbines, steamturbines, plant engineering, monitoring& diagnostics and technology.The study day was brought to aclose by Ing. Zampini, who remindedthose present thatAnsaldo Energia has deep roots inthe local territory and a strong focuson technology and innovation,drawing their attention to37 patents applied for in about 2and a half years, to which theUniversity has made a significantcontribution.5
