PROCESO
Process
(t.l.: Processo)
A quali principi estetici aderirà?
Diego, a film student who works as a photocopier, finds a mysterious
box buried in a garden as he is finishing preparations on
his thesis film. What is inside that box? What idea will he use for
his film? To what aesthetic principles will he adhere?
“Proceso is a collective project by directors studying Audiovisual
Communications at the Fine Arts Department of the Universidad
de La Plata. The intent was to aesthetically depict one student’s
situation. The starting point was the fact that this course is
taught in a building built for military education. Proceso highlights
the renewing perspective of a post-dictatorship generation,
and its aesthetic foundation offers new forms of representation on
a theme that is still worrisome for Argentinean society.”
