L’immagine generata non è altro che la proiezione bidimensionale di un oggetto più complesso visibile solo virtualmente nell’elaborazione in 3D. L’immagine-proiezione è una membrana o ‘brana’ in cui stringhe e loops sono connesse da piccole figure che saltano utilizzando sottili cordicelle. Ad ogni salto il loop sottostante si dilata e sembra inghiottire la figura. Contemporaneamente la cordicella ritma e coordina il tempo di elevazione. L’oggetto complesso visibile in 3D è una membrana simile alla striscia di Moebius che è a sua volta stringa e loop”. The generated image is nothing more than the bi-dimensional projection of a more complex object, only virtually visible in 3D. The imageprojection is a membrane or ‘brane,’ in which strings and loops are connected by small figures that jump using thin little cords. With each jump, the bottom loop opens and seems to swallow up the figure. Simultaneously, the cord keeps the rhythm and coordinates the elevation time. The complex object visible in 3D is a membrane similar to a Moebius strip, itself a string and loop.” Teresa Iaria Biography Teresa Iaria (1968) graduated in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome in 1989. Sono presenti ovunque: alle manifestazioni, processi o alle dimostrazioni. Le due donne di Tel Aviv sono impegnate da quasi 20 anni nella lotta per la liberazione di tutte le prigioniere politiche nelle carceri israeliane. Nei panni delle “nonnine infuriate” scrivono testi e musiche rivoluzionarie, protestano davanti ai checkpoint oppure vanno di propria iniziativa nei territori occupati per incontrarsi con ex prigionieri politici. For almost 20 years the two women from Tel Aviv have been fighting for the release of all female political prisoners in Israel. As “Raging Grannies” they write revolutionary lyrics and music, protest in front of checkpoints or on their own initiative go to occupied areas to meet formerly imprisoned Palestinians.
