Directors often incorporate dancing in a play as aplain combination of beautiful movements without significantconnection with the play itself. This hinders dramaticdevelopment of the performance. Each dance has its owndramaturgy, which will unsettle the chain of events in a playunless it obeys the core idea of the performance. Thus, elementsof choreography in theatre must become an organic part of theplay.3.
