MIKHEIL MAMNIASHVILIGENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE CRIMINAL LAWPROCESS OF PARTICULAR COUNTRIESThe present work gives a general survey of the criminal procedurallegislation of the present Romanic-Germanic and Anglo-Saxon legalsystems. By applying the historical and comparative methodology the attentionis concentrated in the development and the specifities of the legalprocedure of separate countries (USA, England, Germany, Italy, etc.) andthe similarities between them. At the present stage of mankind developmentand the progress of society in the procedural legislation of the bothsystems there is observed a tendency to simplification and acceleration oflegislation. The present article deals with the above-mentioned specifitiesof the Anglo-Saxon and the Continental European countries, both the positiveand the negative aspects are highlighted and expounded. The work alsoenlarges on the sources of the procedural legislation of both legalsystems and elucidates the peculiarities of some evidence accessions andthe criteria of evaluation of particular evidences. The distinctive features oflegislation execution are considered broadly.688
