VEPKHVIA GVARAMIATHE ROLE OF INTERNATIONAL POLICE COLLABORATIONMECHANISMS IN THE SEARCH OF THE APPROPRIATEDMOTOR VEHICLESEffective mechanisms of international police collaboration in searchof the appropriated motor vehicles are: a) extension of the internationaland internal state legal basis; b) intensive use of the Interpol and Europolbasis to final the juridical and physical persons detained for theabove-mentioned criminal act and to ascertain the illegal import of motorvehicles and the transit channels operatively; c) foundation of the generalinternational basis for the motor vehicles in international search, implantationof an Interpol and Europol automated search system in the Europeanand post-socialist countries; d) implantation of unified internationalregistration documents of motor vehicles; e) working out bilateral and internationalcontracts with regard to illegal rotation of motor vehicles; f)unification of the national legislation between the law-enforcing organsof different countries with the aim of simplifying the return procedure ofthe appropriated motor vehicles.639
