I N S T A L L A T I O N3.6 CommissioningNOTEMake sure that the total nominal power of all connecteddevices does not exceed the capacity of the UPS system.1. If optional battery modules are being installed, ensure thatthese are connected to the UPS system (see Connecting thebattery modules/tower or rack model).2. Connect the devices to be protected by the UPS system withoutswitching on the devices.3. Ensure proper attachment and tension relief of the cables.4. Plug the power cable of the UPS system into an outlet(included in the scope of supply with 3000VA model).The LCD display on the front cover of the UPS system lightsup and displays the ONLINE logo.5. Press the button on the front cover of the UPS system forat least one second. The display shows the status "UPS starting".6. If the display of the UPS system displays active warning messages,rectify these problems before you proceed with commissioningthe system (see Troubleshooting).If the display lights up, only proceed after all warning messageshave been rectified. Check the status of the UPS systemon the display and observe all warning messages. Rectifythese and restart the UPS system, if necessary.7. Ensure that the display lights up continuously.
