S A F E T Y W A R N I N G S2. Safety warningsThis handbook contains important instructions that you must complywith during the installation and maintenance of the UPS system andthe batteries. Please read these instructions completely before youbegin working with the device. Keep this manual for future reference.CAUTIONThe UPS system conducts life-threatening voltages. Allrepair and maintenance work should only be performed bycustomer service professionalsThe UPS system has its own energy supply (batteries).The output of the UPS system can conduct voltage evenwhen the UPS system is not connected to an AC powersourceTo reduce the risk of fire or an electric shock, the UPSsystem may only be installed in buildings with controlledtemperature and air humidity in which there are no conductingcontaminants present. The ambient temperature may notrise above 40°C. The UPS system may not be operated nearwater or in extremely high humidity (>95%)When installing optional battery modules into a rack, the installationshould occur directly below the UPS system so thatall cables between the housings can be run behind the frontcover and not accessible to the user.
