T R O U B L E S H O O T I N GAlarm signal orstatusThe UPS systemdoes not makethe expectedtime available forthe data backup.No voltage isavailable at theoutput connectionsof the UPSsystem.The UPS systemis not started.The UPS systemruns in normalmode, however,several or allconsumers arenot switched on.The battery testwas not performedor wasinterrupted.The UPS systemdoes not switchinto bypassmode.The UPS communicationis notworking.Possible causesThe batteries must becharged or replaced.The UPS system is instandby mode.The power cable is not connectedcorrectly.The emergency-off switch isactive or the REPO connectionis missing.The consumers are notproperly connected to theUPS system.One of the conditions listedunder "Performing the automaticbattery tests" wasnot fulfilled.The bypass mains current isnot suitable.The bypass mode is deactivated.The data transfer rate to theserial interface is set forUSB incorrectly. For USB,the setting must be 2400Baud.MeasureConnect the UPS system to themains power for 48 hours to chargeup the batteries.Please contact support.Establish the power supply for theconnected system: Press the on/offbutton for at least one second untilthe "UPS starting…" is displayed onthe control panel.Check the connections of the mainscable.Check the emergency-off connection.Check whether the consumers areconnected with the connections ofthe UPS system.Rectify the problem and start the testagain.Check the quality of the bypassmains current.Check whether the bypass settingsare configured correctly (see Configuringthe bypass settings).Check whether the "Serial interfaceconfiguration" setting is 2400 Baud(see User Settings).Table 11: Warning and status messages136 / 222XS700-XS3000_manual_ger_eng_it_V1.1.0.doc ...........................................................
