T R O U B L E S H O O T I N G8. TroubleshootingThe XANTO S is designed for automatic operation and reports anyoccurring problems during operation automatically. Normally, thewarning messages shown on the control panel do not mean thatthe output voltage is affected. It is usually a preventative message intendedto make the user aware of a problem.General explanations:1. Events are often procedures without directly perceivable effectswhich are recorded in the event log as status information.Example "Clock Set Done".2. Information is announced by audio signal at intervals of5 seconds, recorded in the event log and displayed on theLCD. Examples: Battery mode and Bypass mode.3. Warning messages are indicated by an audio signal at onesecond intervals, recorded in the event log and displayed on theLCD and the warning display lights up. Examples: Site WiringFault and Over Temperature.The following troubleshooting table will help you determine whichstatus of the UPS system has triggered the respective event.8.1 Typical warning and status messagesTo check the status menu on a list of active warning messages, proceedas follows:1.
