This is normal and does not posea hazard to people. Quickly and firmly insert the cable of thebattery module into the battery plug connection of the UPSsystem.4. Stick the cable of the battery module into the battery connectionof the UPS system (see Figure 19). Up to four batteriescan be connected to the UPS system.Models up to 1500VA: Release the plug connection for thebattery module at the UPS system and connect the plug connectionwith the connection to the battery module. Press bothparts together firmly to ensure a good connection.Models with 2000 – 3000VA: Connect red with red, black withblack and green with green. Press both parts together firmly tocreate a good connection.All models To connect a second battery module, release theplug connection on the first battery module. Carefully pull theconnection to connect the second battery module. Repeat theprocedure for each additional battery module.5.
