C O M M U N I C A T I O N6.1.1 RS-232 and USB communication interfacesTo facilitate communication between the UPS system and a computer,connect the computer using a suitable data cable (RS-232 cable,included in the scope of supply) to one of the communication ports ofthe UPS system. Figure 10 shows the position of the communicationports.HINWEISRS-232 and USB communication interface cannot be usedsimultaneously.When the connection cable is connected, the DataWatch softwarecan exchange data with the UPS system (see "DataWatch software“).The software calls up detailed specifications about the statusof the power supply environment from the UPS system.
