Special functions5.1 Converter modeNOTEIn converter mode, no bypass function is available and allbypass-related warning messages are disabled.In converter mode, the UPS system always works with a specificallydefined output frequency (50 Hz or 60 Hz) regardless of which inputfrequency (40 Hz to 70 Hz) is present. A fixed output frequencyis required, for example, for sensitive consumers.1. Press any button to activate the menu options. Select"SETTINGS", "USER SETTINGS" and then "FREQUENCYCONVERTER".2. Select "ENABLED" and confirm using the button.3. Then switch to "OUTPUT FREQUENCY".4. Select "50 Hz" or "60 Hz" and confirm using the button.If the mains power supply is malfunctioning, the UPS system automaticallyswitches to battery mode (the frequency is maintained).The load will be supplied as long as there is sufficient battery capacity.After the mains power supply returns, the UPS system switchesback to convertor mode.112 / 222XS700-XS3000_manual_ger_eng_it_V1.1.0.doc ...........................................................
