O P E R A T I O N4.8.2 Performing the automatic battery testsAutomatic battery tests are performed every 30 days, provided thisoption was activated. During the battery test, the UPS systemswitches to battery mode and discharges the batteries for25 seconds with the available load.NOTEThe "UPS on Battery" message and the "Battery Low" warningmessage are not displayed during a battery test.To perform automatic battery tests:The "Automatic Battery Support Tests" must be activatedThe UPS system must be in normal mode and no warningmessages are activeThe batteries must be fully chargedThe bypass voltage must be acceptableNo manual battery test was previously initiated in the samecharging cycleIn order for the battery tests to pass successfully, the battery voltagemust remain above the threshold value during discharging.4.8.3 Configuring the automatic restartAfter the UPS system shuts down (e.g. due to flat batteries inthe event of a power failure), the UPS system is restarted automaticallyif the power supply returns.You can set how long the UPS system should wait after resumptionof the mains power supply before the load segments are restarted.Use the "Automatic Start Delay" setting for this. You can also configurethe restart of the UPS system so that this is based on the batterycharge state.
