O P E R A T I O NNOTEDepending on the load at the UPS system and the number ofconnected battery modules, the "Battery Low" warning messagemay already be displayed before the batteries havereached a charge state of 25% (see "Bridging time table" underTechnical Data).If the mains power supply returns after shutdown of the UPS system,the UPS system will restart automatically.4.2.3 Bypass modeIn the event of an overload or an internal fault, the UPS systemswitches this over to the mains power supply. The battery mode isnot available and the consumers are not protected. However, themains current continues to be filtered passively by the UPS system.The display lights up.The UPS system remains in bypass mode for at least 5 seconds(provided the quality of the bypass source remains acceptable).If bypass mode is switched to three times within 10 min. without thishaving been caused by a manual command from the user, the UPSsystem remains locked in bypass mode for one hour or until a buttonis pressed.The UPS system will switch to bypass mode under the followingconditions: If the user activates the bypass mode via the control panelIf the UPS system detects an internal faultIf the UPS system is overheatedIf the UPS system exhibits an overload stateNOTEThe UPS shuts down after a prespecified time delay if anoverload event occurs (see "Electrical output power table"under Technical Data).103 / 222XS700-XS3000_manual_ger_eng_it_V1.1.0.doc ...........................................................
