One sings, the other one writes lyricsand plays music. One is a mason, the other one isa dentist. Together, in the Intelvi valley, they arethe DoroDoc Band. Dorino Righetti and LorenzoVanini know each other since ever and they haveplayed together many times. Thanks to theirfriend Davide Van De Sfroos, who invited themon the stage of the Forum of Assago for the importantconcert in 2008, actually they played infront of 12.000 people. After doctor Vanini convincedthe maestro Righetti that he could widenthe horizons of his voice, the publication of a cdbecame an almost inevitable step. W La Suisse isthe album that will be published in the followingweekends, it represents a bet who was won infew months. The first song is the one that givesthe name to the cd – a celebration to the thingsthat people of Como do in Switzerland, from thevisits to the gas stations to the Swiss Tobleronechocolate, with a stop at the Ikea – the preciousvoice of De Sfroos enriches the cd, in the other10 songs there are important contributions ofgreat musicians, for example the virtuous guitaristAlberto Radius. The lyrics are about differentsubjects, which are described in a provocativeand funny way, both the great protagonistswrote the lyrics with Pompeo Peduzzi; the musicgoes from folk to rock, from jazz to blues, theyare written just by Vanini.
