Grazie a questa particolare formula, oltre che alla carismaticafigura di Martha Argerich, il Progetto ha saputo imporsisulla scena internazionale, affermandosi tra gli eventi più importantidella stagione a livello internazionale. L’edizione 2010 vedeun programma oltremodo ricco e intenso. Un posto particolareviene concesso alle commemorazioni: il bicentenario della nascitadi Frédéric Chopin e di Robert Schumann, due compositori cheMartha Argerich interpreta con l’Orchestra della Svizzera italiana,sotto la direzione di Jacek Kaspszyk e Alexander Vedernikov. Il programma di quest’anno traccia un viaggio idealeoltreoceano sino alle due Americhe. Il pubblico è dapprima condottoverso le calde atmosfere dell’America Latina grazie alla presenzadi artisti quali Gabriela Montero, Sergio Tiempo e Karin Lechner, perapprodare poi tra le mille luci di Broadway con la serata finale interamentededicata al musical americano.
