Ilsole scotta come raramente è capitato in queste giornate lagunarie Valeria è seduta su un divano indaco al bordo di un tennis club,scelta azzeccata, visto che “Terre Battue” narra di questo sport, manon solo.Questo film descrive con forza gli egoismi che oggi, più che nelpassato, convivono e collidono nell’ambiente familiare, che nepensi?È una buona osservazione, sullo schermo ci sono diversi egocentrismi:Olivier Gourmet interpreta un padre cocciuto tout court, poic’è un figlio assorto nel tennis a livello agonistico e infine ci sonoio, una moglie e madre ‘estranea’ ai facili entusiasmi degli uominidi casa.Lo sguardo disilluso che possiedi in “Terre Battue”, lascia ilposto ai sorrisi per “La Buca”…Mi sono divertita tantissimo a recitare accanto a Sergio Castellitto!A tal proposito, devo dire che sono altresì contenta di aver recitatoal fianco di un attore straordinario come Olivier.Sei torinese di nascita, quali sono i luoghi che ami visitarequando torni in questa città?Direi in assoluto le piazze, ce ne sono di grandi e bellissime, PiazzaVittorio Veneto, Piazza San Carlo, Piazza Castello; sono moltosuggestive soprattutto in inverno, quel filo di nebbia in mezzo aigrandi spazi di questi luoghi di passaggio…Quali sono i posti in Piemonte in cui vorresti girare nel futuro?Dopo “Un Castello In Italia”, avrei ancora voglia di girare nella‘mia terra’, nella zona di Chivasso.Viaggiare in aereo è per te un piacere?Sai che alla fine apprezzo molto viaggiare con un mezzo dove nonè concesso telefonare? On the screen are various egocentrics: OlivierGourmet plays the ultimate stubborn father. Then there’s ason absorbed by competition-level tennis, and then there’s me, awife and mother who feels cut off from the facile enthusiasms of themen in her home.The disillusionment of “Terre Battue” gives way to comedy in“La Buca”…I had a great time working alongside Sergio Castellitto! Speakingof actors, I have to say I was equally happy to work with such anextraordinary actor as Olivier.You were born in Turin. What places do you love when you returnto the city?Definitely the squares. There are large, beautiful ones. Piazza VittorioVeneto, Piazza San Carlo, Piazza Castello. They’re very picturesque,especially in winter, with the wisp of fog in the midst ofthese large promenades…Where in Piedmont would you like to make a movie in the future?After “Un Castello in Italia”, I would still like to shoot in “myland”, in the Chivasso area.Do you like travelling by air?You know, I really appreciate travelling in a conveyance where youcan’t use a phone.
