L’altromust sono le rovine della missione deigesuiti a San Ignacio Miní, l’esempiomeglio conservato delle 30 missioni fondatedai gesuiti in un territorio che orasi trova a cavallo di Argentina, Brasilee Paraguay. Ma meritevoli di una visitasono anche le cascate di Moconà: larghe2 km, sono al confine con il Brasile lungoil fiume Uruguay. Sulla strada per Moconàs’incontrano 40 cascate più piccole,accessibili tramite i sentieri che attraversanola giungla negli Altopiani Centrali, el’intrigante città di Oberà, punto di partenzaper le spedizioni alle cascate. Oberàvanta un nickname che dice tutto: “capitaledella foresta”. Lungo la strada perMisiones, nelle tranquille città tra EntreRios e Corrientes, si incrociano vecchiechiese, murales e piccoli musei. È laliturgia seguita da milioni di argentini perprepararsi l’infusione ottenuta con le fogliedell’yerba mate.
