Comunicato stampa 33/2009 del 20/10/2009Autorlando Sport entra nella storia dell’automobilismo nazionale conquistando ilCampionato italiano Gran TurismoA Monza, il team diretto da Orlando Redolfi, centra un’affermazione dalla portata storica,“esportando” a Stoccarda, alla Porsche, il titolo Tricolore delle vetture Gran Turismo per la primavolta nell’era moderna.Assieme al giovane pilota portoghese Francisco Martins Cruz, artefice della vittoria in coppia conSascha Maassen al volante della 911 997 GT3 RSR, il team bergamasco ha concluso unpercorso vincente intrapreso due anni fa contrapponendosi al nutrito e competitivo schieramentodelle Ferrari F430. Un viaggio nel quale si era in precedenza segnalato vincendo il titolo nellaserie internazionale Le Mans Series nel 2006, L’international GT Open e con l’altrettantoimportante terzo posto alla 24 Ore di Le Mans nel 2007.La stagione appena conclusa sul tracciato brianzolo, ha visto la coupé lombarda seguire unruolino di marcia ad elevato tasso di competitività assoluta, attraverso il quale ha mantenutocostantemente la leadership di un campionato ad altissimo livello e, conseguendo punti pesantiin tutte le gare, Imola a parte, ha obbligato gli avversari a un’affannosa rincorsa. Autorlando si èimposta in quattro gare, piazzata al secondo posto in tre ed in altrettante ha preso punti,arrivando al round conclusivo di Monza con il solo “obbligo” di tenere dietro la coppia compostada Giuseppe Perazzini e Marco Cioci, unici rimasti in lizza per il titolo. Press statement 33/2009 20/10/2009Autorlando Sport gets into motorsport history conquering the Italian GTChampionshipIn Monza, the team, leaded by Orlando Redolfi, catches a historic victory, “taking to Stuttgart”, toPorsche, the Italian title for GT cars for the first time in modern age.Together with the young Portuguese driver Francisco Cruz Martins, winner driving with SaschaMaassen the 911 997 GT3 RSR, the team from Bergamo ended the adventure started two yearsago facing the big and competitive group of Ferrari F430. In this adventure, the team had alreadyshown its value winning the 2006 Le Mans Series, the 2007 International GT Open and catchinga third place in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the same year.The season, ended two days ago in Monza, saw the made-in-Germany-but-developed-in-Bergamo coupé top-performing in every single race, keeping the leading race after race in a highlevel championship, and, gaining points in each racetrack (except Imola), forced the competitorsto rush in order to follow. Autorlando won four races, arrived second and gained points in three,arriving in Monza with the only target to arrive in front of Pier Giuseppe Perazzini and MarcoCioci, the only crew who could stilli win the title in the last race.
