The GCSD served 102 sessions of the GSE. It provided
clearing and settlement of 1 094 transactions (total
amount GEL 46,676,153.46) accurately and in a
timely manner. 28,064,290 shares and GEL 72,322,108
were deposited at the GCSD to execute the trades
(under the depositary rules if a trade will not be executed,
the amount is returned to brokerage companies'
accounts in the clearing banks after the trading).
Table 11 shows volumes of cash and securities transferred
from clearing and deposit accounts to trade
accounts by months, and Table 12 presents the
dynamics of same data for 2000-2004.
