Certe sere, certe domeniche, arriva la voglia di scendere in piazza, di stare con la gente.
Sì, ma… cosa scegliere?
Ci sono le rassegne itineranti, musica che si spande dai luoghi più incantevoli di monti e colline: il
Valtidone Festival, con Classica ed Etnica/Jazz di artisti internazionali, e l'Appennino Folk Festival,
con repertori tradizionali tra i più importanti d'Europa
Le sonorità celtiche sono di scena a Bobbio, ad onorare le origini irlandesi di Colombano.
Oppure… c'è l'Opera Lirica nel borgo ammaliante di Vigoleno; nell'antica Veleja Romana è in scena
il Teatro Latino, poi c'è il Teatro Natura, tra i boschi del Parco Provinciale.
… certo che con la scenografia mica ci si risparmia!
E ancora altre magie, fatte di esuberanza giovanile, sbigottimento e sorrisi: le colorate esibizioni
del Festival Internazionale dei Giovani e le stramberie del Festival degli Artisti di Strada, una
fantasia da tutto il mondo.
E la Festa in Quota, e il Cantamaggio? E quella rassegna di cori d'osteria e fisarmonica? E…
Si andrà la prossima volta. E sarà ancora un'esperienza, unica naturalmente.

On some evenings, on some Sundays you feel like going out, staying with people.
Right…what can you choose?
There are circulating events, music spreading from the nicest mountain and hill locations:
Valtidone Festival, with Classical and Ethnic/Jazz music by international artists, and Appennino
Folk Festival, with Europe's most important traditional repertoires.
Celtic sounds will be performed in Bobbio, to celebrate Saint Columba's Irish origins.
Or… there is Opera, performed in the fascinating borough of Vigoleno; while the ancient Veleja
Romana is the background for Latin drama; and there is also 'Teatro Natura', in the woods of the
provincial Park … you can't save on scenography!
And even more magic is available and it is characterised by juvenile exuberance, amazement and
smiles: the colourful performances of the Youth International Festival and the eccentricities of
the Street Artists Festival, with artists from all over the world.
And how about 'Festa in Quota' and 'Cantamaggio'? Or the accordion and inn choirs review?
And…
