SPEDIZIONE E FATTURAZIO-<br />
NE<br />
a. <strong>Il</strong> materiale viaggia a rischio e pericolo<br />
<strong>de</strong>l compratore, inten<strong>de</strong>ndosi<br />
sempre venduto franco partenza ns.<br />
stabilimento, anche quando il prezzo<br />
fosse pattuito franco <strong>de</strong>stino. Ogni<br />
nostra responsabilità cessa quindi a<br />
carico compiuto ed accettato e non si<br />
rispon<strong>de</strong> di eventuali rotture, manomissioni<br />
od ammanchi.<br />
b. Quando le merci pronte per la spedizione<br />
rimangono per <strong>de</strong>si<strong>de</strong>rio <strong>de</strong>l<br />
compratore a sua disposizione presso<br />
lo stabilimento fornitore, la fattura<br />
viene emessa come se la spedizione<br />
fosse avvenuta ed i materiali vengono<br />
tenuti in magazzino a rischio, pericolo<br />
e spese <strong>de</strong>l compratore.<br />
c. Quando non vi siano particolari disposizioni<br />
da parte <strong>de</strong>l compratore, le<br />
spedizioni vengono effettuate secondo<br />
le necessità di fabbrica.<br />
CONSEGNE<br />
a. La consegna si inten<strong>de</strong> eseguita<br />
presso lo stabilimento fornitore.<br />
b. I termini di consegna, se espressi<br />
in numero di giorni, si intendono riferiti<br />
a giornate lavorative. I termini di<br />
consegna <strong>de</strong>corrono dal giorno in cui<br />
l’ordinazione pervenuta al venditore si<br />
è perfezionata sotto ogni aspetto.<br />
c. I ritardi <strong>de</strong>lla consegna, dovuti<br />
a causa di forza maggiore o a fatti<br />
estranei alla volontà <strong>de</strong>l fornitore, non<br />
danno mai al compratore il diritto di<br />
annullare il contratto, né di preten<strong>de</strong>re<br />
la rifusione di eventuali danni diretti<br />
od indiretti.<br />
PAGAMENTI<br />
a. I pagamenti <strong>de</strong>lla merce dovranno<br />
essere effettuati nei termini pattuiti<br />
presso la se<strong>de</strong> <strong>de</strong>lla nostra amministrazione.<br />
L’emissione di tratte o l’accettazione<br />
di effetti pagabili su altre<br />
piazze non implicano una <strong>de</strong>roga a<br />
questa clausula.<br />
b. Nel caso di ritardo <strong>de</strong>l pagamento<br />
totale ed anche parziale di una fattura,<br />
il venditore, salvi tutti gli altri suoi<br />
diritti, avrà facoltà si sospen<strong>de</strong>re le<br />
ulteriori consegne, anche se queste<br />
fossero dovute in dipen<strong>de</strong>nza di altri<br />
contratti, ed anche di preten<strong>de</strong>re l’immediato<br />
ed intero pagamento di tutto<br />
il materiale ordinato, od averlo in altro<br />
modo garantito.<br />
c. Sui ritardati pagamenti <strong>de</strong>correrà<br />
l’interesse commerciale maggiorato di<br />
4 punti rispetto al tasso di sconto (TUS)<br />
in vigore in quel momento, come pure<br />
le spese di bollo e incasso.<br />
GARANZIE E RECLAMI<br />
a. La garanzia <strong>de</strong>lla merce è limitata<br />
al solo materiale di prima scelta con<br />
la tolleranza <strong>de</strong>l 5% e i materiali di<br />
seconda scelta sono sempre venduti<br />
senza nessuna nostra responsabilità e<br />
garanzia; essa rimane quindi espressamente<br />
esclusa per il materiale di<br />
scelta diversa. Differenze di tonalità<br />
non sono un difetto ma una caratteristica<br />
<strong>de</strong>l prodotto, pertanto non possono<br />
essere <strong>de</strong>nunciate come vizio di<br />
materiale.<br />
b. Gli eventuali reclami <strong>de</strong>vono esserci<br />
notificati con lettera raccomandata<br />
entro otto giorni dall’arrivo <strong>de</strong>lla merce<br />
a <strong>de</strong>stino e comunque prima che il<br />
materiale sia posto in opera. Eventuali<br />
vizi o difetti <strong>de</strong>lla merce regolarmente<br />
<strong>de</strong>nunciati, e da noi riconosciuti, danno<br />
il diritto soltanto alla sostituzione<br />
<strong>de</strong>i materiali difettosi. Gli obblighi <strong>de</strong>l<br />
venditore si esauriscono con tale sostituzione.<br />
Non sono a suo carico altri<br />
oneri, non essendo tenuto il venditore<br />
a risarcire danni diretti od indiretti di<br />
qualsiasi natura <strong>de</strong>rivati al compratore<br />
dall’impiego o dal mancato impiego<br />
<strong>de</strong>l materiale difettoso. Qualsiasi<br />
reclamo o contestazione non implica<br />
la sospensione od il rifiuto <strong>de</strong>l pagamento<br />
<strong>de</strong>lle fatture, pagamento che<br />
dovrà effettuarsi regolarmente e integralmente<br />

<strong>Il</strong> Cotto <strong>Palagio</strong> per le sue caratteristiche<br />
fisiche, richie<strong>de</strong> un trattamento<br />
particolarmente facile e rapido; alcune<br />
semplici attenzioni permettono di<br />
ottenere un risultato eccezionale e<br />
duraturo di sicura soddisfazione.<br />
LAVAGGIO<br />
Eseguire il lavaggio solo a pavimento<br />
completamente asciutto (occorrono<br />
indicativamente dopo la posa a malta<br />
circa 20 giorni, e 5-10 giorni per la<br />
posa a colla, a seconda <strong>de</strong>lle condizioni<br />
<strong>de</strong>l tempo e <strong>de</strong>lle stagioni).<br />
1. Bagnare con acqua e poi lavare<br />
e strofinare il pavimento con ACIDO<br />
TAMPONATO per qualche minuto.<br />
(Con 1 litro = 5 mq.). Fare attenzione<br />
a togliere ogni residuo di calce, cemento<br />
o colla dalle piastrelle.<br />
2. Risciacquare bene fino ad ottenere<br />
acqua chiara. L’operazione va fatta<br />
prima che il pavimento si asciughi<br />
dopo la pulitura con acido.<br />
TRATTAMENTO<br />
<strong>Il</strong> trattamento va iniziato a pavimento<br />
asciutto (si consiglia di lasciare circolare<br />
l’aria nell’ambiente anche in<br />
inverno per facilitare l’evaporazione<br />
<strong>de</strong>ll’umidità).<br />
Consiste in:<br />
1. Sten<strong>de</strong>re con spugna o pennellessa<br />
il prodotto di fondo (1 litro = 20<br />
mq.) che ha la funzione di impregnante<br />
e livellante.<br />

Guida al trattamento<br />
e alla manutenzione<br />
2. Dopo 24 ore sten<strong>de</strong>re una<br />
mano di cera in pasta cremosa<br />
(neutra o anticata) in modo uniforme<br />
(1 litro = 8:10 mq.).<br />
<strong>Il</strong> trattamento può essere fatto con<br />
cera neutra, per ottenere una colorazione<br />
calda e vicina al colore<br />
originale <strong>de</strong>l prodotto, oppure cera<br />
anticata per ottenere una colorazione<br />
ten<strong>de</strong>nte al moro, simile a<br />
quella <strong>de</strong>l cuoio invecchiato.<br />
Spazzolare subito dopo per meglio<br />
disten<strong>de</strong>re e far assorbire il prodotto,<br />
possibilmente con lucidatrice a spazzola.<br />
3. Dopo 48 ore sten<strong>de</strong>re una seconda<br />
mano di cera a finire, con funzione<br />
protettiva e antipolvere. Spazzolare<br />
con lucidatrice a spazzola.<br />
N.B. Durante la stesura <strong>de</strong>lla BASE o<br />
<strong>de</strong>lla CERA, in caso di sospensione<br />
<strong>de</strong>l lavoro, si raccomanda di terminare<br />
lungo le fughe (non lasciare cioè mezze<br />
piastrelle non trattate).<br />
MANUTENZIONE<br />
<strong>Il</strong> pavimento così ottenuto non ha bisogno<br />
di altro; periodicamente, a seconda<br />
<strong>de</strong>ll’usura, si può usare la cera di<br />
mantenimento in commercio.<br />
Per la normale pulizia lavare semplicemente<br />
con acqua.<br />
Ogni 3-4 settimane si può ripassare<br />
la lucidatrice a spazzola sul pavimento<br />
pulito; ritornerà come nuovo e rinnoverà<br />
la vostra soddisfazione.<br />

Informazioni tecniche<br />
Consigli per la posa di pavimenti interni<br />
ed esterni<br />
Occorre premettere che il pavimento, essendo la parte in vista, rivela tutti<br />
i difetti che possono essere causati anche dagli strati sottostanti. È bene<br />
quindi che le eventuali anomalie presentate dalle nostre piastrelle vengano<br />
scoperte e segnalate prima <strong>de</strong>lla posa. Questo per due motivi:<br />
1. la legislazione vigente preve<strong>de</strong> che eventuali contestazioni sul materiale<br />
avvengano prima <strong>de</strong>lla posa;<br />
2. gli interventi riparatori che prevedano la sostituzione di materiale in opera<br />
sono estremamente costosi e difficilmente accettati dal cliente finale.<br />
Non saranno quindi presi in consi<strong>de</strong>razione reclami su materiale già posato.<br />
L’argilla di Galestro Imprunetino che <strong>Il</strong> <strong>Palagio</strong> usa per produrre le proprie<br />
piastrelle è completamente naturale e quindi il prodotto può presentare<br />
<strong>de</strong>lle variazioni nel tono <strong>de</strong>l colore, anche nel prodotto “Trattato Maiolica”<br />
E “Trattato a Galestro”. Consigliamo quindi una posa miscelata, prelevando<br />
pacchi da diversi pallets e le piastrelle da vari pacchi.<br />
È inoltre peculiare <strong>de</strong>l prodotto una certa scalibratura per cui la posa<br />
dovrà essere eseguita lasciando una certa fuga fra le piastrelle; la fuga può<br />

avere una larghezza variabile, a seconda <strong>de</strong>l gusto <strong>de</strong>ll’utilizzatore.<br />
È anche opportuno che le piastrelle vengano tutte montate nello stesso<br />
senso, pren<strong>de</strong>ndo come riferimento i lati di trafila.<br />
Particolari accorgimenti <strong>de</strong>vono essere presi per i pavimenti esterni in<br />
quanto le condizioni ambientali alle quali vengono sottoposti possono essere<br />
estremamente gravose e comunque in grado di provocare danni a qualsiasi<br />
tipo di piastrella.<br />
Le sollecitazioni principali che <strong>de</strong>vono essere neutralizzate sono dovute<br />
alle infiltrazioni di acqua, ed alle dilatazioni e contrazioni causate dalle<br />
escursioni termiche.<br />
Per ridurre la possibilità di formazioni di ghiaccio sottostante, occorre<br />
evitare che l’umidità, che può filtrare dai giunti e dalle fughe <strong>de</strong>l pavimento,<br />
ristagni sotto il pavimento stesso. Occorre quindi progettarlo in modo tale<br />
da fargli avere una opportuna pen<strong>de</strong>nza, ed un’impermeabilizzazione. A<br />
titolo di esempio, mostriamo il disegno seguente:<br />

Per ridurre le possibilità di danneggiamento causato da dilatazioni e contrazioni <strong>de</strong>l materiale occorre dotare i pavimenti<br />
di giunti elastici di dilatazione che <strong>de</strong>vono interessare in profondità non solo la piastrella ma anche il massetto<br />
che la sostiene.<br />
A seconda <strong>de</strong>lle escursioni termiche previste i riquadri <strong>de</strong>i giunti possono avere dimensioni comprese fra due e tre<br />
metri di lato. Comunque i giunti <strong>de</strong>vono interessare tutto il perimetro <strong>de</strong>l pavimento.<br />

ALLGEMEINE VERKAUFS UND LIEFERBEDINGUNGEN<br />
1. Den Vertretern <strong>de</strong>r Firma Vivaterra<br />
SpA übergebene Aufträge gelten als<br />
verbindlich, sofern sie von <strong>de</strong>r selben<br />
genehmigt sind.<br />
2. Bestellungen, welche vom Vertreter<br />
erteilen wer<strong>de</strong>n, verstehen sich als vom<br />
Kun<strong>de</strong>n erteilt.<br />
3. Lieferfristen: die angegebenen Lieferzeiten<br />
sind approximativ und mögliche<br />
Verspätung, auch von Höher Gewalt<br />
erstammt, sind keinen Grund um<br />
Scha<strong>de</strong>nsersatzansprüche. Verspätete<br />
Lieferung ist keinen Grund um die Bestellung<br />
zu stornieren.<br />
4. Die Ware kann bei Abgang <strong>de</strong>r Lieferbestätigung<br />
in Rechnung gestellt.<br />
5. Die angegebenen Preise verstehen<br />
sich Ab Werk (unverzollt).<br />
6. Der Warenversand erfolgt auf Risiko<br />
<strong>de</strong>s Auftragsgebers, auch bei Lieferungen<br />
frei Bestimmungsort. Nach Übergabe<br />
<strong>de</strong>r Ware an Frachtunternehmen<br />
übernimmt <strong>de</strong>r Lieferfirma keinerlei<br />
Haftung mehr. Somit ist die Firma Vivaterra<br />
SpA für Bruchschä<strong>de</strong>n, fehlen<strong>de</strong><br />
Teile o<strong>de</strong>r Lieferverzögerungen nicht<br />
verantwortlich zu machen, nach<strong>de</strong>m<br />
die Ware das Werk verlassen hat.<br />
7. Erfolgt <strong>de</strong>r Transport o<strong>de</strong>r die Abholung<br />
<strong>de</strong>r Ware nicht unverzüglich,<br />
übernimmt <strong>de</strong>r Auftraggeber das Risiko<br />
und Kosten für die Lagerung.<br />
8. Das Material wird aus feuchten<br />
Masse hergestellt, die Mass.-und<br />
Farbangaben <strong>de</strong>r Musterplatten nicht<br />
verbindlich sind und sollen als Hinweise<br />
über die Produkteigenschaften dienen.<br />
9. Es wird keine Reklamation für bestellte<br />
und gelieferte Ware in 2.Sortierung<br />
o<strong>de</strong>r für schon verlegtes Material<br />
akzeptiert.<br />
10. Es wird keine Reklamation für<br />
Material akzeptiert, welches im Außenbereich<br />
behan<strong>de</strong>lt wur<strong>de</strong> o<strong>de</strong>r für die<br />
natural Nuancierung <strong>de</strong>r Fliesen.<br />
11. Reklamationen und Mängelrügen<br />
sind innerhalb von acht Tagen nach<br />
Eingang <strong>de</strong>r Wendung zu ergeben.<br />
Später eingehen<strong>de</strong> Beschwer<strong>de</strong>n können<br />
nicht berücksichtig wer<strong>de</strong>n.<br />
12. Der Auftragsgeber ist nicht berechtigt<br />
eingegangener Warensendung<br />
ohne ausdrückliche Genehmigung <strong>de</strong>r<br />
Lieferfirma zurückzusen<strong>de</strong>n.<br />
13. Bei berechtigen Reklamationen<br />
beschränkt sich die Haftung <strong>de</strong>r Firma<br />
Vivaterra SpA lediglich auf die Rücknahme<br />
<strong>de</strong>r Ware bzw. Ersatzlieferung<br />
<strong>de</strong>s Warenanteils, die <strong>de</strong>n Vertragsbedingungen<br />
nicht entspricht. Vom<br />
Auftragsgeber erhobene Scha<strong>de</strong>nsersatzansprüche,<br />
auch wenn sie durch<br />
Drittperson erfolgen, wer<strong>de</strong>n nicht<br />
anerkannt. Bereits verlegte Ware muss<br />
nicht ersetz wer<strong>de</strong>n.<br />
14. Der Ausgleiche <strong>de</strong>r, von <strong>de</strong>r Fa. Vivaterra<br />
SpA ausgestellten Rechnungen<br />
für verkaufte, ausgelieferte, versandte<br />
o<strong>de</strong>r berechnete Ware, hat innerhalb<br />
<strong>de</strong>r vereinbarten Zahlungsfrist, einzig,<br />
bei die obengenannte Lieferfirma zu<br />
erfolgen.<br />
15. 10 Tage nach Ablauf <strong>de</strong>r Zahlungsfrist<br />
ist die Firma Vivaterra SpA<br />
berechtigt, über die Höhe <strong>de</strong>s Rechnungsbetrages<br />
sowie <strong>de</strong>r Stempel.-und<br />
Inkassogebühren ein Sichtwechsel<br />
auszustellen.<br />
16. Der Auftragsgeber ist nicht berechtigt<br />
das vereinbarte Zahlungsziel<br />
aufzuschieben o<strong>de</strong>r abzuän<strong>de</strong>rn; dies<br />
gilt auch im Fall laufen<strong>de</strong>r Beschwer<strong>de</strong>n<br />
o<strong>de</strong>r eventueller beson<strong>de</strong>rer Garantieansprüchen,<br />
die <strong>de</strong>r Kun<strong>de</strong> gegen<br />
die Lieferfirma erhebt.<br />
17. Bei Zahlungseinstellung bzw.-aufschub<br />
entfällt für <strong>de</strong>n Auftragsgeber je<strong>de</strong>s<br />
Beschwer<strong>de</strong>recht in Bezug auf die<br />
gelieferte Ware. Mängelrügen jeglicher<br />
Art, auch wenn gerichtlich vorgebracht<br />
wer<strong>de</strong>n, bleiben wirkungslos, wenn <strong>de</strong>r<br />
Auftragsgeber nicht nachweisen kann,<br />
dass er Zahlungsverpflichtungen nachgekommen<br />
ist, einschließlich <strong>de</strong>r Verbindlichkeiten,<br />
die sich gegebenenfalls<br />
aus an<strong>de</strong>ren, mit <strong>de</strong>r Firma Vivaterra<br />
SpA eingegangenen Verpflichtungen,<br />
für laufen<strong>de</strong>, o<strong>de</strong>r bereits erfolgte Sendungen<br />
ergeben.<br />
18. Gerät <strong>de</strong>r Kun<strong>de</strong>n mit seinen Zahlungen<br />
in Rückstand, so behält sich die<br />
Firma Vivaterra SpA das Recht vor, <strong>de</strong>n<br />
Auftragsgeber mit Verzugszinsen in<br />
Höhe <strong>de</strong>s Zinssatzes für „erste Raten“<br />
zuzüglich drei Punkten zu belasten. Bei<br />
Zahlungsunfähigkeit, innerhalb <strong>de</strong>r vereinbarten<br />
Zahlungsfrist, ist die Firma<br />
Vivaterra SpA berechtigt, die Auftragsabwicklung<br />
von laufen<strong>de</strong>n Bestellungen<br />
bis auf weiteres, einzustellen.<br />
19. Die Ware wird nur in ganzen Kartons<br />
o<strong>de</strong>r Bün<strong>de</strong>l verkauft. Für je<strong>de</strong> unvollen<br />
Palette wird einen Zuschlag von<br />
€ 10,30 berechnet.<br />
20. Fracht und alle übrige Kosten wer<strong>de</strong>n<br />
auf die erste Frist belasten.<br />
21. Für alle gegenseitigen Ansprüche,<br />
die sich aus Verkäufen <strong>de</strong>r Firma<br />
Vivaterra SpA ergeben, einschließlich<br />
Fragen <strong>de</strong>r Rechnungsausgleich<br />
durch Wechsel, akzeptierte Wechsel,<br />
autorisierte Wechsel, Eigenwechsel<br />
o<strong>de</strong>r Wechselabtretungen von Dritter,<br />
ist <strong>de</strong>r alleiniger Gerichtsstand Florenz<br />
zuständig.<br />
ANWEISUNGEN<br />
Für seine physischen Eigenschaften<br />
lässt sich die Behandlung <strong>de</strong>s Cotto<br />
<strong>Il</strong> <strong>Palagio</strong> sehr einfach un schnell<br />
durchführen. Um ein fabelhaftes Ergebnis<br />
zu gewinnen und somit lange<br />
Zeit daran Freu<strong>de</strong> zu haben, sind ganz<br />
einfache Anweisungen zu beachten.<br />
REINIGUNG<br />
Die Reinigung soll nur auf einem trockenen<br />
Bo<strong>de</strong>n durchgeführt wer<strong>de</strong>n<br />
(nach <strong>de</strong>r Mörtelverlegung braucht<br />
man indicativ ca. 30 Tage und nach<br />
<strong>de</strong>r Klebeverlegung 10 Tage. Das<br />
kommt aber auch auf <strong>de</strong>r Wetterlage<br />
und <strong>de</strong>r Jahreszeiten ab.).<br />
1. Den Belag zuerst gut wässern und<br />
danach mit Absäuerungsmittel absäuern.<br />
Bitte beachten Sie, dass alle Verschmutzungserscheinungen<br />
entfernt<br />
wor<strong>de</strong>n sind.<br />
2. Anschliessend gut nachspülen<br />
bevor <strong>de</strong>n Belag nach <strong>de</strong>m Absäuern<br />
trocken wird.<br />

BEHANDLUNG<br />
Die Behandlung soll beim trockenen<br />
Belag vorgenommen wer<strong>de</strong>n.<br />
Zwecks Ausdünstung <strong>de</strong>r Feuchtigkeit<br />
empfehlen wir die Räume auch<br />
im Winter durchzulüften.<br />
Die Behandlung wird wie folgt empfohlen:<br />
1. Die flüssige Beize o<strong>de</strong>r ähnliches<br />
Produkt mit einem Flächenpinsel auftragen.<br />
2. Nach Abtrocknung <strong>de</strong>r Beize<br />
gleichmässig mit Wachs behan<strong>de</strong>ln.<br />
Die Behandlung kann mit neutral<br />
Wachs um einen warmen Farbton,<br />
welcher die originale Farbe <strong>de</strong>s Produktes<br />
entspricht, o<strong>de</strong>r mit Antik-<br />
Wachs, um einen bräuneren Ton zu<br />
gewinnen, welcher <strong>de</strong>m Antik-Le<strong>de</strong>r<br />
ähnlich ist, vorgenommen wer<strong>de</strong>n.<br />
Den Bo<strong>de</strong>n sofort mit einer Bohnermaschine<br />
o<strong>de</strong>r einer speziellen Bürste<br />
bohnern, damit das Produkt sofort<br />
einwirken kann.<br />
PFLEGE<br />
Nach dieser Behandlung braucht <strong>de</strong>r<br />
Bo<strong>de</strong>n nichts weiteres.<br />
Je<strong>de</strong> 6/10 Monate, je nach Abnutzung,<br />
kann ein Wischpflegemittel benutzt<br />
wer<strong>de</strong>n.<br />
Für eine normale Pflege, <strong>de</strong>n Bo<strong>de</strong>n<br />
nur mit Wasser reinigen.<br />
Alle 4 Wochen kann <strong>de</strong>r Bo<strong>de</strong>n nach<br />
<strong>de</strong>r Reinigung gebohnert wer<strong>de</strong>n.<br />

TECHNISCHE ANLEITUNGEN<br />
VERLEGUNGSEMPFEHLUNGEN FUER INNEN UND AUSSEN<br />
FUSSBOEDEN<br />
Es ist notwendig vorauszusetzen, daß <strong>de</strong>r Fußbo<strong>de</strong>n, <strong>de</strong>r Teil in Sehkraft seiend,<br />
es enthüllt alle Fehler, die von auch <strong>de</strong>n darunter liegen<strong>de</strong>n Schichten<br />
verursacht wer<strong>de</strong>n können. Es ist also empfehlenswert, daß von unseren<br />
Fliesen eventuellen Abweichungen vor <strong>de</strong>r Verlegung ankündigt seien.<br />
Dieses für zwei Grün<strong>de</strong>:<br />
1. die bestehen<strong>de</strong> Gesetzgebung sieht voraus, daß eventuelle Reklamationen<br />
auf das Material vor <strong>de</strong>r Verlegung präsentiert sein;<br />
2. die Ausbesserungen, daß es ein Ersatz von verlegtem Material voraussehen,<br />
sind sie vom Endkun<strong>de</strong> äußerst teuer und schwer angenommen.<br />
Infolge<strong>de</strong>ssen wer<strong>de</strong>n keine Reklamationen auf schon verlegtes Material<br />
akzeptiert.<br />
Die von <strong>Il</strong> <strong>Palagio</strong> verbrauchte Galestro Toner<strong>de</strong> aus Impruneta ist vollständig<br />
natürlich, und kann so unterschiedliche Farbtöne aufweisen, auch in <strong>de</strong>n<br />
Produkte <strong>de</strong>r Serie “Trattato a Majolika” und “Trattato a Galestro.”<br />
Wir empfehlen <strong>de</strong>mnach eine vermischte Verlegung, in<strong>de</strong>m Pakete aus<br />
unterschiedlichen Paletten und die Fliesen aus unterschiedlichen Paketen<br />
entnommen wer<strong>de</strong>n.<br />
Eigenheit <strong>de</strong>s Produktes ist außer<strong>de</strong>m eine gewisse Unregelmässigkeit in<br />
<strong>de</strong>r Grösse die bei <strong>de</strong>r Verlegung Fugen zwischen <strong>de</strong>n Fliesen erfor<strong>de</strong>rlich<br />
macht; die Wahl <strong>de</strong>r Breite <strong>de</strong>r Fuge ist <strong>de</strong>m Verleger überlassen. Die Fliesen<br />
müssen alle in <strong>de</strong>r gleichen Richtung verlegt wer<strong>de</strong>n, dass die Rillen auf <strong>de</strong>r<br />
Unterseite <strong>de</strong>r Platte in die gleiche Richtung laufen.<br />
Beson<strong>de</strong>re Maßnahmen müssen für die Aussenbelägen ergriffen wer<strong>de</strong>n,<br />
da die Wettereinflüsse beson<strong>de</strong>rs schwerwiegend auf das Material einwirken<br />
können und im Allgemeinen jegliche Art Fliesen beschädigen können.<br />
Die Hauptbelastungen, die neutralisiert wer<strong>de</strong>n müssen, sind wegen Wasserinfiltration,<br />
und zu <strong>de</strong>n Aus<strong>de</strong>hnungen und <strong>de</strong>n Zusammenziehungen, die von<br />
Temperaturvariationen verursacht wer<strong>de</strong>n.<br />
Um einer Eisbildung in <strong>de</strong>n unteren Schichten entgegenzuwirken muss<br />
vermei<strong>de</strong>n wer<strong>de</strong>n, dass sich die Feuchtigkeit, die durch die Fugen und<br />

14. Payment: payments of our Invoices<br />
should be executed within established<br />
terms, stated with Vivaterra<br />
SpA Management.<br />
15. After 10 days from payment expiring<br />
date, Vivaterra SpA has the<br />
power to draw a draft at sight for the<br />
due amount, plus any ad<strong>de</strong>d costs for<br />
collection.<br />
16. The Purchaser has no right to<br />
suspend or modify payment terms,<br />
even by pending disputes due to any<br />
reason, and even if the latter are connected<br />
to specific guarantees offered<br />
by Vivaterra SpA<br />
17. The Purchaser that suspend or<br />
postpone payments, lose the right to<br />
put any claim concerning the supply.<br />
Any action from Purchaser has no<br />
force, if he cannot <strong>de</strong>monstrate to be<br />
up-to-date with all payments to Vivaterra<br />
SpA.<br />
18. By postponed payment, Vivaterra<br />
SpA has the power to issue an<br />
Invoice for <strong>de</strong>layed payment interest<br />
as current prime-rate plus an extra<br />
2% and any other expenses for collection.<br />
In <strong>de</strong>fault of payment within<br />
established terms Vivaterra SpA will<br />
be able to suspend the current or<strong>de</strong>rs<br />
of the Purchaser<br />
19. Goods will be <strong>de</strong>livered always in<br />
full boxes or bundle. For any incomplete<br />
pallets we will charge you with<br />

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE<br />
Due to its physical characteristics, <strong>Il</strong><br />
<strong>Palagio</strong> Terracotta requires particularly<br />
quick, easy treatment; if one takes<br />
special care, one is certain to obtain<br />
exceptional, long-lasting results.<br />
WASHING<br />
Wash only once the floor is completely<br />
dry (roughly 20-30 days after laying<br />
with mortar<br />
and 5-10 days after applying with<br />
glue, <strong>de</strong>pending on the weather conditions<br />
and season).<br />
1. Wet with water and then wash and<br />
rub the floor with Buffered Acid for<br />
several minutes applying 1 litre to 5<br />
m2. Take care to remove any trace of<br />
lime, cement or glue from the tiles.<br />
2. Rinse well until the water remains<br />
clear before the floor dries after being<br />
cleaned with acid.<br />
TREATMENT<br />
The treatment should be started once<br />
the floor is dry (it is advisable to let<br />
air circulate in the room also in winter<br />
to facilitate evaporation of humidity).<br />
Proceed as follows:<br />
1. With a sponge or flat brush spread<br />
the basic product (1 litre = 20 m2)<br />
which serves to impregnate and level.<br />
2. After 24 hours, apply a coat creamy<br />
wax (neutral or antiquated) uniformly<br />
(1 litre = 8-10 m2).<br />

spread the product and make it absorb,<br />
possibly with a brush polisher.<br />
3. After 48 hours, apply a second<br />
protective, anti-dust wax coat. Brush<br />

N. B. When applying the Base or Wax,<br />
it is advisable to suspend the treatment<br />
along the joins (that is, do not<br />
leave parts of tiles untreated).<br />
MAINTENANCE<br />
The floor then requires no further<br />
treatment; periodically, <strong>de</strong>pending on<br />
wear, one can use maintenance wax<br />
on the market.<br />
For routine cleaning, simply wash<br />
with water.<br />
Every 3-4 weeks, one can pass a<br />
brush polisher over the floor once it<br />
has been cleaned, giving it new life<br />
and enhancing its beauty.<br />
21. Place of jurisdiction: for any dispute<br />
regarding or consequently a sale<br />
of Vivaterra SpA, it will be competent<br />
the court of Florence.<br />

TECHNICAL INSTRUCTIONS<br />
Suggestions for interior and exterior laying<br />
of floors<br />
We must say that the floor, since the part in sight, reveals all the <strong>de</strong>fects<br />
that may also be caused by layers below. It is, therefore that any anomalies<br />
submitted by our tiles are discovered and reported before laying it.<br />
For two reasons:<br />
1. The current legislation provi<strong>de</strong>s that any disputes on the material take<br />
place before laying;<br />
2. The remedial measures providing for the replacement of material are<br />
extremely expensive and difficult accepted by the final customer<br />
For these reasons there will not be taken into account complaints on material<br />
already installed.<br />
The Galestro clay of Impruneta area’s that <strong>Il</strong> <strong>Palagio</strong>’s uses to produce<br />
their tiles is completely natural and so the product may presents color sha<strong>de</strong>s,<br />
even in the products “Trattato a Majolica” and “Trattato a Galestro”.<br />
Therefore we recommend a pose mixed by picking packs of several<br />
pallets and tiles from different packs.<br />
It is also a characteristic of this product a possible variation in the sizes<br />
for which the installation must be carried out with a joint between the tiles;<br />
The joints may have a width varies, <strong>de</strong>pending on the taste of the user.<br />
The tiles must be layed all in the same direction that the grooves run on<br />
the un<strong>de</strong>rsi<strong>de</strong> of the plate into the same direction<br />
Special means must be taken to the outdoor floors as the environmental<br />
conditions un<strong>de</strong>r which they are subjected may be extremely hard and can<br />
cause damage to any type of tile<br />
The main stresses that must be neutralised are due to infiltration of<br />
water, and to the expansions and contractions caused by temperature<br />
variations.<br />
In or<strong>de</strong>r to counteract an icing in the low layers, it will avoid that the<br />
moisture, that can seep through the joints and lengthening-joints, can<br />
accumulate un<strong>de</strong>r the ground.<br />
Therefore, it must be planned an inclination and a waterproofing as well.<br />

In or<strong>de</strong>r to avoid that expansion and shrinkage of the material caused damages, the material must be layed with<br />
elastic expansion-joints, involving in <strong>de</strong>pth not only the tiles but also the un<strong>de</strong>r-concrete-block.<br />
According to expected temperature-fluctuations, the expansion joints boxes can have a si<strong>de</strong>-length of two to<br />
three meters. However the joints must interest around the perimeter of the floor. An example for the or<strong>de</strong>r of the<br />

client ou <strong>de</strong> l’agent.<br />
2. Les comman<strong>de</strong>s transmises par<br />
l’Agent s’enten<strong>de</strong>nt comme transmis<br />
par le client.<br />
3. Livraison: les délais sont donnés à<br />
titre indicatif et les éventuels retards,<br />
même s’ils ne sont pas dus à <strong>de</strong> force<br />
majeure, ne peuvent donner lieu a<br />
une action en dédommagement, ni<br />
entraîner l’annulation <strong>de</strong> la comman<strong>de</strong>.<br />
4. Facturation: la marchandise est<br />
facturée à la date du jour <strong>de</strong> son<br />
expédition.<br />
5. Les prix se rapporter au matérielle<br />
livre départ notre usine, VAT exclue.<br />
6. Transport: la marchandise voyage<br />
aux risques et périls du commettant,<br />

livre “brut” puis poli après pose<br />

<strong>de</strong> paiement Vivaterra SpA a la faculté<br />
d’e tirer une traite a vu pour le<br />
montant <strong>de</strong> la facture et les frais <strong>de</strong><br />
timbre et encaissement.<br />
16. Le commettant ne peut suspendre<br />
ou modifier l’échéance <strong>de</strong> règlement<br />
établie, même en cas <strong>de</strong> litiges en<br />
cours pour quelque motif que ce soit<br />
17. Le commettant qui suspend ou<br />
retar<strong>de</strong> les paiements perd le droit <strong>de</strong><br />
toute réclamation pour la livraison en<br />
objet. Toute action du commettant,<br />
même <strong>de</strong>vant les tribunaux, ne sera<br />
pas acceptée si celui-ci n’a pas fourni<br />
la preuve d’être a jour <strong>de</strong> tous règlements,<br />
voire même pour d’autres<br />

18. Vivaterra SpA se réserve le droit<br />
<strong>de</strong> facturer au commettant <strong>de</strong>s intérêts<br />
au taux bancaire, majeurs <strong>de</strong> 2%,<br />
le non-paiement donne droit à Vivaterra<br />
SpA <strong>de</strong> suspendre toute livraison<br />
vis-à-vis du client.<br />
19. La marchandise emballes en<br />
boites ou en paquets <strong>de</strong> cellophane<br />
seront impérativement livrée<br />
dans la quantité indiquée dans<br />
cette liste <strong>de</strong> prix. Pour chaque<br />

rapi<strong>de</strong>; quelques interventions permettent<br />
d’obtenir un résultat exceptionnel<br />
et durable qui vous donnera<br />
certainement pleinement satisfaction.<br />
LAVAGE<br />
On ne peut procé<strong>de</strong>r au lavage que<br />
lorsque le pavement est parfaitement<br />
sec (il faut en général, à titre d’indication,<br />
20-30 jours après la pose avec<br />
mortier et 5-10 jours pour la pose<br />
avec colle, suivant les conditions météorologiques<br />
et suivant les saisons).<br />
1. Mouiller avec <strong>de</strong> l’eau et laver le<br />
pavement en frottant avec <strong>de</strong> l’Aci<strong>de</strong><br />
Tamponé pendant quelques minutes.<br />
Pour 1 litre = 5 m2.<br />
Prendre bien soin d’enlever toute<br />
trace <strong>de</strong> chaux, <strong>de</strong> ciment ou <strong>de</strong> colle<br />
<strong>de</strong>s carreaux.<br />
2. Bien rincer jusqu’à ce que l’eau<br />
obtenue soit claire. Cette opération<br />
doit être effectuée avant que le pavement<br />
soit sec et après le nettoyage<br />
avec l’aci<strong>de</strong>.<br />
TRAITEMENT<br />
Le traitement doit être commencé<br />
lorsque le pavement est sec (il est<br />
conseillé <strong>de</strong> bien aérer le local même<br />
en hiver afin <strong>de</strong> faciliter l’évaporation<br />
<strong>de</strong> l’humidité). <strong>Il</strong> s’agit <strong>de</strong>:<br />
1. Etaler à l’ai<strong>de</strong> d’une éponge ou<br />
d’un pinceau large le produit <strong>de</strong> base<br />
(1 litre = 20 m2). qui doit servir à<br />
imprégner et à niveler.<br />
2. Au bout <strong>de</strong> 24 heures, passer une<br />
couche <strong>de</strong> cire en pâte crémeuse<br />
(neutre ou patinée) <strong>de</strong> manière uniforme<br />
(1 litre - 8 m2).<br />
Le traitement peut être effectué à<br />
l’ai<strong>de</strong> d’une cire neutre pour obtenir<br />
une couleur chau<strong>de</strong> et proche <strong>de</strong> la<br />
couleur d’origine du produit, avec une<br />
cire patinée pour obtenir une couleur<br />
proche du brun et ressemblant à celle<br />
du cuir tanné.<br />
Brosser aussitôt après afin <strong>de</strong> mieux<br />
étaler le produit pour le faire pénétrer,<br />
si possible à l’ai<strong>de</strong> d’une cireuse<br />
à brosse.<br />
3. Au bout <strong>de</strong> 48 heures, passer une<br />
<strong>de</strong>uxième couche <strong>de</strong> cire en guise<br />
<strong>de</strong> protection et contre la poussière.<br />
Brosser avec une cireuse à brosse.<br />
N. B. Lorsque l’on passe la Base ou<br />
la Cire et que l’on désire s’arrêter un<br />
moment, il est recommandé <strong>de</strong> terminer<br />
au bout d’une rangée (ne pas<br />
laisser <strong>de</strong> carreaux à moitié traités).<br />
ENTRETIEN<br />
Le pavage ainsi obtenu n’a plus besoin<br />
<strong>de</strong> rien; périodiquement et selon<br />
l’usure, on peut utiliser la cire d’entretien<br />
en vente dans le commerce.<br />
Pour l’entretien normal, laver simplement<br />
avec <strong>de</strong> l’eau.<br />
Toutes les 3-4 semaines, on peut<br />
repasser la cireuse à brosse sur<br />
le pavage propre qui re<strong>de</strong>viendra<br />
comme neuf pour votre plus gran<strong>de</strong><br />
satisfaction.<br />

Les renseignements techniques<br />
Conseils pour la pose <strong>de</strong> pavement intérieurs<br />
et extérieur<br />
Nous <strong>de</strong>vons dire que le pavement, <strong>de</strong>puis la partie en vue, révèle tous les<br />
défauts que peut aussi être causé par couches <strong>de</strong>ssous. <strong>Il</strong> est donc que les<br />
anomalies soumis par nos carreau sont découverts et rapportés avant <strong>de</strong> la<br />
pose en ouvre. Pour <strong>de</strong>ux raisons :<br />
1. La législation actuelle prévoit que les litiges sur le matériel prendre place<br />
<strong>de</strong>vant la pose en ouvre ;<br />
2. Les mesures <strong>de</strong> redressement prévoyant le remplacement du matériel<br />
sont extrêmement coûteux et difficile accepté par le client final.<br />
Pour ces raisons il ne sera pas prise en compte revendication sur le matériel<br />
déjà installé.<br />
Le argile <strong>de</strong> la zone que <strong>Il</strong> <strong>Palagio</strong> utilise pour produire leurs carreau est<br />
parfaitement naturelle et si le produit peut présente nuances <strong>de</strong> couleurs,<br />
même dans les produits “Trattato a Majolique” et “Trattato a Galestro”.<br />
C’est pourquoi nous recommandons une pose mélangée retenue par<br />
plusieurs boîtes <strong>de</strong> palettes et carrelage par plusieurs paquets. <strong>Il</strong> est<br />
également une caractéristique <strong>de</strong> ce produit une variation possible dans les<br />
côté pour laquelle l’installation doit être effectuée laissant un certain joint<br />
entre les carrelage;<br />
Le joint peuvent avoir une largeur varie, selon le goût <strong>de</strong> l’utilisateur. Les<br />
carreaux doit être mis tous dans le même sens que les cannelures exécuter<br />
sur le revers <strong>de</strong> la plaque dans le même sens.<br />
Des moyens doivent être prises pour le plein air étages <strong>de</strong> l’environnement<br />
conditions dans lesquelles ils sont soumis peut être extrêmement<br />
difficile et peut causer <strong>de</strong>s dommages à tout type <strong>de</strong> carrelages.<br />
Le principal souligne que doit être neutralisée sont dues à l’infiltration<br />
d’eau, et à l’expansion et contractions causés par écarts <strong>de</strong> température.<br />
Pour réduire la possibilité <strong>de</strong> la glace <strong>de</strong>ssous, il va éviter que l’humidité,<br />
qui peuvent s’infiltrer par les joints <strong>de</strong> dilatation et les joints <strong>de</strong> la plancher,<br />
