La curva, segno ampio e avvolgente, viene
declinata diversamente, secondo le funzioni
e gli elementi d’arredo: la scrivania, il dattilo,
il mobile di servizio, il piano in cristallo,
creano movimenti centrifughi e centripeti,
dalla persona all’ambiente, dall’azienda
pulsante al dirigente dinamico.
The ample embracing movement of the
curve varies according to the functions of
the furniture: the desks for working and
typing, the storage units and the glass
tops contribute to create centrifugal and
centripetal movements, from the individual
to the environment, from the hectic company

Il razionalismo alla Bauhaus, riletto in chiave minimalista, approda
ad una armonia stilistica fatta di segni tracciati con delicatezza,
spessori impercettibili, materiali caldi e freddi che abitano
lo spazio insieme a frammenti di alta tecnologia. Il wengé
sposa il cristallo, l’acciaio e l’alluminio, in una composizione
che dichiara l’autorevolezza del linguaggio imprenditoriale.
Bauhaus-style rationalism is here given a minimalist touch
to achieve a design harmony made of delicately traced signs,
imperceptible depths, warm and cold materials which merge
harmoniously with high technology details. Wengé is combined
with glass, steel and aluminium, in a composition witnessing
the authoritativeness of the corporate language.

boiserie in ciliegio americano con mensole silver: ogni dettaglio partecipa
alla creazione di un ambiente in cui si fondono valore d’uso e coerenza
estetica.
The office discovers the principles of present-day living, acquiring its atmosphere,
warmth and harmony. The filing modules look like they belong to an
elegant living room. Glass doors, wainscots in American cherry with Silver
shelves: every detail participates in the creation of an environment where
functionality and aesthetic coherence co-exist harmoniously.

La collezione di tavoli da riunione ripropone l’elemento
di sostegno della collezione Ateneo, costituito da una
colonna in estruso di alluminio con canali verticali, predisposti
per alloggiare le mensole in acciaio cromato e
il trave centrale silver. Il pilastro centrale è rivestito da
un guscio di alluminio millerighe, che accentua l’importanza
architettonica del piedistallo.
The collection of boardroom tables features the distinctive
element of the Ateneo collection, and more
specifically a column in extruded aluminium with vertical
canals, arranged to support the shelves in chromed
steel and the central beam in Silver. The central pillar is
covered in aluminium with tiny stripes, which emphasises
the architectural importance of the pedestal.

e informatiche, grazie al top access in alluminio
inserito al centro del piano. Il PC, ospitato dal
caddy silver, si trasforma in strumento di lavoro

The tables of the executive collection feature an
invisible distribution of power and telecommunications
wiring, thanks to the aluminium lid inserted
in the middle of the table. The computer,
placed in the Silver caddy, becomes a mobile
and handy work instrument.

accostamenti di materiali suggeriscono un audace parallelo
tra progetto d’arredo e design auto-mobilistico. Consentiteci
questo azzardo, in un’epoca in cui l’espressione artistica è ormai
sinonimo di movi-mento, velocità, dinamismo.
Rounded lines, high-tech details and completely new combinations
of materials suggest audacious similarities between furniture
and car design. Allow us to make this hazardous parallel
in a time when artistic expression has become synonymous
with movement, speed and dynamism.

L’alluminio, materiale eccellente e ricco di impulsi
progettuali, esalta la luminosità dell’arredo
e il calore delle essenze ad esso abbinate. Nei
dettagli alcune soluzioni ideate per trasformare
l’avvolgente reception in un centro operativo
ergonomico ed efficiente. Il ciliegio americano
dell’ampio frontale è segnato da due sottili intarsi
in alluminio.
Aluminium, an excellent material that lends itself
to a wide array of design images, exalts
the luminosity of the furniture and the warmth
of the wood types it is combined with. The images
show some solutions conceived to turn the
welcoming reception into an ergonomic and efficient
operative centre. The American cherry of
the large front desk is enlivened by two slender
aluminium inlays.

circolare. Si attenua la linea di demarcazione tra mobile
operativo e direzionale,mentre si afferma l’idea di un ufficio a
misura di relazione, progettato per favorire la creatività, la conoscenza,
la professionalità.
Wengé and opaque glass, characterize two refined circular
reception units. The distinction between furniture for clerks
and for executives is blurred, while the idea of an office conceived
for relations, designed to favour creativity, knowledge
and professionalism becomes predominant.

La politica ambientale di Estel
I valori, la strategia e gli obiettivi di un’azienda sono espressi nella sua politica, ed uno dei
cardini della politica di Estel è rappresentato dalla tutela dell’ambiente, che si concretizza
attraverso il rispetto della legislazione vigente, la prevenzione dell’inquinamento, la
progressiva riduzione delle emissioni e del consumo di risorse, l’utilizzo di materiali riciclati
e riciclabili.
Per garantire questi risultati, Estel mantiene attivo un Sistema di Gestione Ambientale
conforme ai requisiti della norma UNI EN ISO 14001, tramite il quale stabilisce gli obiettivi
di miglioramento.
Dal momento che la politica rappresenta il punto di riferimento operativo quotidiano per
l’intero management aziendale, viene assicurato il massimo impegno da parte dell’azienda
per raggiungere gli obiettivi ambientali in essa espressi.
Design ECO responsabile
I prodotti Estel soddisfano le esigenze dell’utente promuovendo nel contempo uno sviluppo
responsabile attraverso un ridotto consumo di risorse ed un basso livello di inquinamento.
Estel ottiene questo risultato ispirandosi in tutte le fasi, dalla progettazione alla realizzazione
fino alla eliminazione a fine vita dei propri prodotti, a criteri di eco responsabilità quali:
- selezione attenta dei materiali: i materiali lignei utilizzati provengono da riciclo assieme
ai metalli e vetri e sono tutti riciclabili, hanno garanzia illimitata e un valore destinato a
crescere nel tempo; il materiale ligneo inoltre è certificato FSC, e ciò garantisce il cliente
finale che il legno utilizzato nella fabbricazione del prodotto proviene da foreste gestite
secondo standard internazionali di salvaguardia sia degli aspetti ambientali sia di quelli
socio-economici legati alla foresta, a tutela del patrimonio forestale mondiale
- selezione dei fornitori, privilegiando quelli in possesso di certificazioni ambientali quali UNI
EN ISO 140011 o FSC
- scelte progettuali eco-responsabili, che consentano alla fine della vita utile del prodotto,
il suo facile disassemblaggio e la possibilità di destinare al riciclo i vari tipi di materiali che
lo costituiscono.
Cicli produttivi rispettosi dell’ambiente
Consapevole che un prodotto è fatto anche dai cicli produttivi necessari a realizzarlo, Estel
privilegia cicli produttivi rispettosi dell’ambiente, quali la verniciatura all’acqua che, oltre a
ridurre fortemente l’impatto ambientale, contribuisce alla salubrità dell’ambiente all’interno
del quale viene collocato il prodotto.
I processi produttivi sono inoltre controllati facendo affidamento su sofisticate
apparecchiature di misura o ricorrendo ad analisi di parte terza svolte da laboratori
altamente qualificati.
L’azienda, infine, è impegnata in un’attività di miglioramento dei propri cicli produttivi, il cui
risultato è la crescita sostenibile di Estel, infatti l’azienda è riuscita ad aumentare i propri
volumi produttivi diminuendo il consumo di risorse e riducendo le emissioni inquinanti, in
particolare quelle di anidride carbonica.
Imballi ecosostenibili
Nella progettazione dell’imballaggio, Estel ricerca materiali con basso impatto ambientale,
principalmente il cartone e, ove tecnicamente possibile, utilizza imballaggi fabbricati con
materiali di riciclo; Estel studia inoltre il metodo di imballaggio per ridurre al minimo la
quantità di materiale utilizzato e per consentire il riempimento ottimale dei mezzi di trasporto
che, assieme ad una efficiente logistica distributiva, consente di minimizzare il numero dei
mezzi utilizzati e quindi l’inquinamento acustico ed atmosferico generato dagli stessi.

Estel’s environmental policy
The values, the strategy and the objectives of a company are reflected in its policy and one
of the mile stones of Estel’s policy is represented by the environmental protection, which is
implemented through the compliance with the legislation in force, the pollution prevention,
the progressive reduction of the emissions and of the resource consumption, as well as the
use of recycled and recyclable materials.
In order to grant these results, Estel boasts an Environment Management System in
compliance with the requirements of the UNI EN ISO 14001 standard, through which it
sets the objectives of its improvement.
Since this policy represents the daily operative reference point for its whole business
management, the company fully commits itself in order to achieve its environmental goals.
Eco responsible design
Estel’s products meet their users’ needs by promoting, at the same time, a responsible
development through a reduced consumption of resources and a low level of pollution.
Estel has achieved this goal by drawing inspiration in all the phases, ranging from planning
to implementation up to the elimination of its products at the end of their life, from eco
responsibility criteria, such as:
- a careful selection of materials: the wooden materials that are used are recycled, just like
metals and glass, they are all recyclable, have got an unlimited warranty and a value that
will increase over time; furthermore, its wooden material is FSC certified and this assures
to the final client that the wood, used to manufacture its products, comes from forests
that are managed according to international standards of protection, as regards to both
environmental aspects and social-economic aspects linked to forests in order to protect
the world forestry heritage;
- the selection of suppliers, privileging those who own environmental certifications, such as
UNI EN ISO 140011 or FSC
- eco responsible planning choices, enabling, at the end of the useful life of a product, to
easily disassemble it and to recycle the various types of materials that make it up.
Environmental friendly productive cycles
Estel is aware that a product is also made up of the productive cycles that are needed to
manufacture it, therefore it privileges environmental friendly productive cycles, such as
water-based painting, which not only strongly reduces the environmental impact, but also
contributes to protect the environment in which the product is placed.
The productive processes are also controlled by means of sophisticated measurement
appliances or of third party analyses, carried out by highly qualified laboratories.
Furthermore, the company is also carrying out an activity aimed at improving its productive
cycles, whose result is Estel’s sustainable growth, indeed the company managed to increase
its productive volumes and to reduce the consumption of resources as well as to reduce the
polluting emissions, specifically carbon dioxide ones.
Eco sustainable packages
In the design of its packages, Estel uses materials with a low environmental impact, mainly
cardboard and, where technically possible, it uses packages made of recycled materials.
Furthermore Estel tries to find the right packaging solution not only to reduce to a minimum
the quantity of the material used, but also to allow the full loading of its means of transport
so that it is possible -together with an efficient distribution logic- to reduce the number of
means used and therefore the acoustic and atmospheric pollution generated by them.
