Nasce dalla lampada da tavolo Leti di cui riprende la semplicità produttiva
e la volontà di racchiudere più funzioni diventando un prodotto
ibrido in cui la relazione con l’utente trasforma la concezione tradizionale
dell’oggetto.
In questa declinazione di Leti come applique ad una corretta performance
luminosa si aggiunge l’idea che il dorso che permette di fissare
la lampada a parete prenda importanza sporgendo dal profilo per offrire
una superficie in cui appendere con calamite messaggi, promemoria,
fotografie…
Prosegue le ricerche orientate alla semplificazione e razionalizzazione
dei processi produttivi che fanno parte del DNA di Danese a favore di un
prodotto monomaterico ed ecosostenibile, realizzato da un’unica lamiera
di metallo tagliata e piegata.
Nelle due versioni garantisce una illuminazione diretta e indiretta: mentre
nella variante con alogena il flusso è controllato per favorire l’emissione
indiretta nella soluzione con sorgente fluorescente compatta si sceglie di
lasciare la sorgente il più possibile libera per massimizzare il rendimento.
It derives from Leti table lamp; it maintains the production simplicity
and the will to contain multiple functions becoming an hybrid product in
which the relationship with the user modifies the traditional perception
of the object.
In Leti wall version, to a correct light performance, it has to be added
the idea that the back of the object lets the lamp to be fixed to the wall
in a way that it holds out from the profile offering a surface on which
messages, memos and photos can be hung thanks to magnets.
The lamp continues researches oriented to the simplification and
rationalization of production processes which are part of Danese’s DNA
eco-sustainable principles and to the use of one material only realized
by cutting and bending one sheet.
The two versions generate direct and indirect light: in the halogen
version, flux is controlled in order to allow the indirect emission, in the
solution with compact fluorescent lamp, light source is let free in order
to maximize performance.

Matteo Ragni
Matteo Ragni si è laureato in Architettura al Politecnico di Milano. Dal
1995 si occupa di design ed è docente presso il Politecnico di Milano e
l'Istituto Europeo di Design. Tra i riconoscimenti più recenti il World Best
Design Exchange Seoul e il Young Designer Talent di Elle Decor Italia.
Matteo Ragni takes his degree at the faculty of Architecture of Milan’s
Polytechnic. Since 1995 he is engaged in design; he teaches at Milan’s
Polytechnic and at European Institute of Design. Among the most
recent prizes that Matteo Ragni has received we can remember: World
Best Design Exchange Seoul and Young Designer Talent of Elle Decor
Italia.
