Ventralex Hernia Patch SURGICAL TECNIQUE Insert a small retractor into the defect and pull anterior and cephal ad to make room for the patch. Choose either the small or medium patch to insert into the defect. Select the patch that is approximately twice the size ofthe hernia defect. Fold the patch up “like a taco”and put it into a clamp. Insert the patch all the way through the defect and into the intra-abdominal space. EHS
