La seconda parte deÙ'indagine si riferl invece a quei censiti come longevi che, in numero di 2.777, . risultarono &i fogli di famiglia e che erano stati omessi negli elenchi che i Comuni dovevano redigere. Ql,lesti 2.777 presunti longevi erano distribuiti in 981 Comuni;. senonchè richiesti anche per tali censiti i soliti documenti probatori dell'età denunciata, si trovò the soltanto l.503 erano effettivamente longevi ed appartenevano a 583 Comuni, dei quali 127 avevano omesso ola compilazione dell'apposito (I) L'art. 69 delle Norme eS8c'Utive àsl VII Censi'IMnto disponeva che ogni Comune f~masse un elenco comprendente tutUi censi~na.ti nell'anno 184a e precedenti, e che a tale elenco veni$Sero all.ti documenti probatori deU'età den unela.ta dai cèn,iti stessi (estratti. o certificati di nascita, di battelrimo,di ma.trimonio. o anagrafici).
