Need for Speed
D Licht hat viele außergewöhnliche Eigenschaften. Eine davon ist seine Schnelligkeit – das Maß
aller Dinge für Geschwindigkeit. Als Unternehmen, das jeden Tag mit Licht in all seinen Facetten
arbeitet, haben wir natürlich eine besondere Beziehung zu dieser Geschwindigkeit. Aber nicht nur
wir, die meisten Menschen finden hohe Geschwindigkeiten reizvoll: Sie sind schwer zu erreichen
und oft mit ein wenig Gefahr verbunden.
Das ist auch in der Wirtschaft so: Schnell zu sein stellt hohe Anforderungen an die Organisation
eines Unternehmens und ist teuer, wird man diesen Anforderungen nicht gerecht. Der Markt erwartet
zu Recht immer öfter Höchstgeschwindigkeit – in der Produktentwicklung, in der Kommunikation,
in der Produktion, in der Logistik.
Diesen Erwartungen gerecht zu werden und sie wo möglich noch zu übertreffen, haben wir uns bei
XAL zur Aufgabe gemacht. Durch hohe Investitionen in Know-How, Fertigungstechnologie, Logistikkompetenz
und durch stetige Weiterentwicklung der Organisation senken wir seit Jahren gezielt
die time-to-market unserer Produktneuheiten, die Reaktionszeiten auf Kundenanfragen und die
Auftragsdurchlaufzeiten und haben uns so zu einem Unternehmen entwickelt, zu dessen Eckpfeilern
des Erfolgs neben ausgezeichnetem Produktdesign und hoher Innovationskraft immer mehr auch
die Geschwindigkeit zählt.
Diesen eingeschlagenen Weg werden wir konsequent weiter gehen und weiterhin investieren und
optimieren, um in vielen Bereichen für unsere Kunden noch schneller zu werden. Denn eines gilt für
unsere Kunden wie für uns: Geschwindigkeit macht Spaß!
E Light has many extraordinary properties. One of these is its velocity – the measure of all things
for speed. As a company that works with light in all its facets everyday, we naturally have a special
relationship with this speed. But not just us – most people find high speeds attractive: They are hard
to attain and often associated with a little danger.
This is also the case in business: Being fast places high demands on the organisation and things
get expensive, if these demands are not met. The market rightly always expects more top speed
– in product development, in communication, in production, in logistics.
At XAL, we have set ourselves the task of meeting these expectations and even exceeding
them where possible. By making big investments in know-how, production technology,
logistics competence and constantly enhancing our organisation, we have for years aimed
to reduce the time-to-market of our production innovations, the reaction times to customer
queries as well as order processing times and have thus developed into a company whose
corner stones of success including excellent product design, a high degree of innovation and,
increasingly, speed.
We intend to consistently follow this chosen path and make further investments and improvements
in order to become even quicker for our customers in many areas. After all, one thing applies to our
customers as it does to us: Speed is fun!
I La luce possiede molte caratteristiche straordinarie. Una di queste è la sua velocità: la misura
di tutte le cose in materia di velocità. Come azienda che si occupa ogni giorno di luce, in tutti i suoi
aspetti, abbiamo naturalmente un rapporto particolare con la velocità. Non solo noi, del resto. La
maggior parte delle persone subisce il fascino della velocità, perché è difficile da raggiungere e
perché spesso è un po’ pericolosa.
Lo stesso fenomeno lo ritroviamo anche nel campo dell’economia: essere veloci comporta
per l’organizzazione di un’azienda un notevole impegno, cui si associa un costo elevato
se non vengono soddisfatti i requisiti necessari. Il mercato si aspetta sempre più spesso,
a ragione, la massima velocità: nello sviluppo dei prodotti, nella comunicazione, nella
produzione, nella logistica.
Per soddisfare queste aspettative o addirittura, se possibile, andare ancora oltre, noi della XAL ce
lo siamo imposti come un compito. Grazie a cospicui investimenti nel know-how, nella tecnologia di
produzione, nella competenza logistica e grazie al costante perfezionamento dell’organizzazione,
da anni riusciamo a ridurre in modo mirato il time-to-market dei nostri nuovi prodotti, i tempi di
reazione alle richieste dei clienti e i tempi di esecuzione degli ordini. In questo modo abbiamo
creato un’azienda che sempre più basa il suo successo, oltre che sul design dei prodotti e su un
consistente potere d’investimento, anche sulla velocità.
È nostra intenzione proseguire coerentemente la strada imboccata e di continuare gli
interventi di investimento e ottimizzazione per diventare in molti settori ancora più veloci
a beneficio dei nostri clienti, perché i nostri clienti pensano, esattamente come noi, che la
velocità è proprio divertente!
