EN 13537
NORM
C.A.M.P. testa ogni linea secondo la normativa europea EN 13537 per individuare i limiti di
temperatura dei diversi modelli di sacchiletto.
Un grafico è stato sviluppato per permettere la facile individuazione dei 3 livelli di temperatura:
• Temperatura COMFORT: temperatura in cui l’utilizzatore in posizione distesa è
complessivamente in equilibrio termico e non ha né freddo né caldo; potrà quindi permettersi
un ottimo riposo (determinata su una donna standard in condizioni di uso normali).
• Temperatura LIMIT: temperatura limite in cui l’utilizzatore rannicchiato è complessivamente in
equilibrio termico e non ha ne freddo né caldo (determinata su un uomo standard in
condizioni di uso normali).
• Temperatura EXTREME: temperatura in cui bisogna aspettarsi una forte sensazione di freddo
ed è elevato il rischio di ipotermia.
A tutti i sacchiletto CAMP viene inoltre associata una di queste due diverse indicazioni:
- temperatura conforme alla norma EN 13537: il saccoletto è stato sottoposto a test di
temperatura da parte di un centro specializzato ed autorizzato (Kansas State University, Usa);
- temperatura in accordo alla norma EN 13537: la temperatura indicata su questo saccoletto è
stata identificata da C.A.M.P, basandosi sui risultati dei test ottenuti su saccoletto con
caratteristiche simili per tessuto, peso e costruzione.
C.A.M.P tests each product line according to the EN 13537 European
standards to identify temperature limits for different sleeping bag models.
A graphic has been developed to display three relevant temperature
ratings for every sleeping bag:
• COMFORT temperature is based on a standard woman having a
comfortable night’s sleep (neither cold nor warm).
• LIMIT temperature is the lowest temperature for a standard man to have
a comfortable night’s sleep.
• EXTREME temperature is the lowest temperature before health risk can
occur.
Consumers will find one of this two different markings on all CAMP
sleeping bags:
- Temperature tested to EN 13537: identifies all the sleeping bags that
have been tested by a specialized and authorized centre (Kansas State
University, Usa).
- Temperature rating in accordance with EN 13537: indicates that the
marked temperature on a sleeping bag has been calculated by C.A.M.P.

Piuma d’oca: imbottitura 100% naturale per ottenere le migliori
performance in termini di peso e volume.
Goose down: 100% natural filling in order to reach the best
weight to volume ratio.
Piuma d’anatra: imbottitura 100% naturale. Il fiocco di piumino
d’anatra è leggermente più piccolo di quello d’oca. Ottime
performance in termini di peso e volume.
Duck down: 100% natural filling, feathers being a little smaller than
goose down’s. It offers a very good weight to volume ratio.
Climafill Loft: imbottitura in poliestere appositamente studiata
per la tecnologia Seamless. L’utilizzo di solide fibre ultra sottili con
trattamento al silicone rendono questo tipo di imbottitura
particolarmente morbida e resistente con ottime proprietà isolanti.
Climafill Loft: PE filling, specially designed for the Seamless
technology. The peculiar feature of Climafill-Loft is to provide extra
warmth while being actually more handy than any other insulation
with comparable characteristics. The secret behind Climafill-Loft
is the consequent use of Fine-Denier solid fibre, with silicon
treatment for soft hand-feel like down. Above that, thermal
bounding fibres give the required strength and loft retention.
Climafill Teck: la più performante imbottitura in poliestere in
grado di fornire maggiore calore per unità di peso. La sua unicità
è basata su una miscela di tre diverse fibre sottili (cave, siliconate,
fuse) ed al loro processo di produzione. Questo tipo di

Climafill Teck: represents our high-loft technical insulation,
providing superior warmth per unit weight. The uniqueness of
Climafill-Teck is based on a blend of three different fine fibres
(including siliconised, conjugated, hollow ones) in combination
with thermal bounding fibres. A kind of composition that is able
to ensure strength, compactability and loft at a very high level.
Climafill: ottimo compromesso tra prestazione e costi. È realizzata
dalla miscela di Micro-fibre e fibre sottili. L’unione di questi due tipi di
fibre aiutano ad trattenere l’aria e garantire l’isolamento necessario.
Climafill: incorporates our technical insulation, best value for
money. Climafill consists of Micro-fibres blended with fine-fibres
to trap air so as to ensure the required insulation. Apart from that,
stability is given by spray-bounding.
PT-7: È una fibra in poliestere con 7 cavità. La capacità di
trattenere ed intrappolare l’aria per garantire l’isolamento
necessario è data proprio da questo tipo di costruzione cava.
PT-7: A 100% polyester filling made from 7-hole-fibres, with the
ability to trap air and give best warmth retention.
FILLING POWER
TESSUTI / FABRICS
Il filling power è la capacità della piuma
di rigonfiarsi e trattenere l’aria.
L’unità di misura del filling power è espressa in “cube inch” (pollici cubi).
Per testare il filling power, un’oncia (28 grammi) di piuma viene compressa
all’interno di un tubo con un peso pre-determinato. Quando il peso viene
rimosso la piuma si espande e il volume dello spazio da essa occupato
è misurato in pollici cubi (cube inch). Più i singoli fiocchi sono voluminosi
più elevato è questo indice. La piuma migliore è quella che si “gonfia”
maggiormente a parità di peso. Tanto è maggiore il filling power, tanto più
l’imbottitura permette di trattenere il calore del corpo all’interno
dell’intercapedine tra il tessuto interno e quello esterno del saccoletto.
Filling power is the “filling ability” of down.
The filling power value is obtained by measuring the volume of space
which can be occupied by one ounce (28 g) of down under a predetermined
load, and is expressed in cubic inches. The best down
reaches the highest volume. The higher the filling power, the better the
warmth retention is.
Araneum (20D - 100% Nylon - Ripstop - 35 g/m²): Costruzione
downproof, calandrato nella parte interna, finitura esterna W/R. Grazie
al filo 20D molto sottile (9000 metri pesano solo 20 grammi) questo
tessuto è molto leggero e più comprimibile (almeno il 50%) rispetto ai
tessuti tradizionali. Molto resistente con eccezionale traspirabilità. La
costruzione Ripstop aumenta la resistenza allo strappo.
Araneum (20D - 100% Nylon - Ripstop - 35 g/m²): Down proof
by construction, cire on backside, W/R finish. Due to the very fine 20D
thread (9000 meters weighing just 20 grams) this fabric is lightweight
and more packable (at least 50%) than traditional fabrics. High strength
fabric with exceptional breathability. The Ripstop version offers
improved tear resistance.
Sheltex (30D - 100% Nylon - Ripstop): Costruzione downproof,

morbido al tatto e traspirante. La versione Ripstop è specificamente

cire on backside, W/R finish. Lightweight but durable, with soft hand
feel and good air permeability. Sheltex Ripstop is specifically
constructed to achieve the maximum resistance to tearing and is used
primarily to protect against abrasion. It is used as outer shell fabric.

Pre-shaped hood: for perfect insulation around the head;
constructed to grant protection and comfort; with one-hand draw cord
system for easy adjustment, reduces heat dispersion to a minimum.

Ergonomic foot box: inclined foot base with wider upper part,

Form-coded draw cord: a round elastic cord combined with one
flat lace help you identify which one you want to pull in order to adjust
the hood even in the darkest night. The elastic cord controls the upper
part of the hood, while the lace is used to adjust the lower part.

posizione in modo da trattenere il massimo calore possibile.
3-D: probably the most valid and effective construction for an high
performance sleeping bag. Down chambers are built all around
the human body for perfect insulation.
Down Box (D.B.): Costruzione a scomparti per mantenere
l’imbottitura in posizione e assicurare un calore uniforme.

Dual Insulation System (DIS): Innovativo tipo di costruzione
mista con l’utilizzo della piuma nella parte superiore del saccoletto
e dell’imbottitura sintetica nella parte inferiore, in modo da ottenere
le migliori performance. La piuma è il miglior materiale isolante in
termini di calore-peso-volume grazie alla sua capacità di
intrappolare l’aria e lavora perfettamente nella parte superiore del
saccoletto, ma in quella inferiore è l’imbottitura sintetica che riesce
a lavorare al meglio anche se compressa dall’utilizzatore. Questo
“lavoro di squadra” funziona garantendo un ottimo isolamento nel

Dual Insulation System (DIS): Innovative construction with down

Warmth-Weight-Volume Ratio, is perfect in the top part thanks to its
ability to trap air; on the contrary, synthetic filling works better in the

all’utilizzo del miglior piumino d’oca!
1. Cerniera centrale: comoda da aprire/chiudere, divide altresì la parte centrale in piccole
camere. Queste permettono, oltre una distribuzione uniforme della piuma, anche di
mantenerla sempre in posizione.
2. La patella esterna copri cerniera, unitamente a quella interna, entrambe imbottite in piuma,
evitano i punti freddi e la dispersione del calore interno.
3. Asole appendi saccoletto, utili per arieggiarlo.
4. Camere laterali imbottite in piuma: è la caratteristica più importante a garanzia del massimo
isolamento attorno al corpo.
5. Collare anatomico: evita la fuoriuscita del calore prodotto dal corpo stesso. La sua particolare
costruzione offre un comfort totale. Il cordino elastico permette una rapida e precisa
regolazione.
6. Un’ulteriore protezione è data da un collarino posto attorno al cappuccio. Una semplice e
rapida regolazione tramite cordino elastico evita la dispersione di calore.
7. La costruzione 3D del cappuccio per mantenere uniforme la distribuzione dell’imbottitura
anche attorno al capo.
8. 2 ampie tasche interne.
9. Costruzione anatomica zona piedi: taglio inclinato del fondo del sacco, più ampio nella parte

2. Inner Zipper Draft tube (down filled): it covers the inner side of the zipper, to prevent
cold spots and keep warmth inside. Outer Zipper Flap: covers the zipper outside.
3. Loops: useful to hang up the sleeping bag for airing.
4. Inset-Sidepart: the most important feature, because it grants maximum insulation around
the body
5. Ergonomic draft collar: a comfortable “seal” around neck and shoulders which prevents
heated air to escape from inside. An elastic draw cord allows adjustments.

La linea Classic è la soluzione ideale per tutte le attività all’aperto, in cui peso e dimensioni
di imballaggio sono solo secondari, riuscendo a mantenere un ottimo rapporto

All the models of the Classic line have an envelope shape and are endowed with a preshaped
hood which offers a higher comfort and protection level.
The divided zip system offers a wide range of opportunities:
- the sleeping bags can easily be coupled;
- the feet area can be ventilated;
- a sleeping bag can be turned into a sort of blanket.
The three down-filled models in the line are reliable partners for recovering during the night
or for a rest during the day. They are available with different filling weight for different
temperature zones. Horizontally stitched down channels are equipped with H-baffles.
Classic line is ideal for every outdoor activity when weight and dimensions are not the main

L’imbottitura PT-7 è ideale per sacchiletto sintetici: è adatta ai climi umidi e, oltre a non
trattenere l’umidità, questa fibra possiede ottime capacità termiche grazie alle sette cavità
artificiali che la compongono.
Anche la costruzione della parte superiore a due strati è particolare: uno strato di imbottitura
è fissato al tessuto esterno con distintive cuciture quadrate, mentre l’altro è fissato al lining
interno tramite cuciture orizzontali. In questo modo si riducono al minimo i punti freddi,
ottenendo così un ottimo rapporto prezzo-performance (valori confermati anche dai test
termici effettuati).
I sacchiletto Sint sono i compagni d’avventura ideali per le vostre uscite di trekking, camping
o in camper.
The technical features of the PT-7 filling are ideal for synthetic sleeping bags: this 7-hole-fibre
has excellent thermal properties; it doesn’t retain humidity and is thus suitable for damp
environments.
The top part has a particular 2-layer construction: the upper filling is sewn to the outer fabric
by means of a square stitching, while the lower filling is fixed to the lining by horizontal
stitching lines. In this way we reduce cold spots to a minimum, and the thermal test reports
confirm excellent values and a superb price-performance ratio.
