STEERING LOCK (TE)<br />

The motorcycle is equipped with a steering lock (1) on<br />

the R.H. side of the steering head tube.<br />

To lock it, proceed as follows:<br />

Turn the handlebar to the left, place the key in the switch<br />

and turn counter clockwise. Push the key in (if necessary,<br />

turn handlebar in both directions). Turn the key clockwise<br />

and remove it from the switch.<br />

To unlock the steering, reverse the above procedure.<br />

RIGHT-HAND HANDLEBAR SWITCH<br />

The right-hand switch features the following controls:<br />

(TE-TXC)<br />

1) Engine start button<br />

2) Engine KILL SWITCH.<br />

(TC)<br />

1) Engine start button<br />

2) Double map push-button<br />

pressed for motorcycle SOFT performance;<br />

released for motorcycle HARD performance.<br />

to switch map from hard to soft (and vice-versa), proceed<br />

as follows:<br />

- stop engine;<br />

- wait for about 10 seconds;<br />

- switch the push-button;<br />

- start engine.<br />

LEFT-HAND HANDLEBAR SWITCH (TE)<br />

The left-hand handlebar switch contains the following<br />

commands:<br />

1) High beam flasher (self-cancelling)<br />

2) High beam<br />

Low beam<br />

3) Left-hand turning indicators (self-cancelling)<br />

Right-hand turning indicators (self-cancelling)<br />

To deactivate the turning indicators, press the control<br />

lever after it is returned to the centre.<br />

4) Warning horn<br />
