Auto d’epoca sfilano nei viali di Milano Marittima
E quindi ecco le Alfa Romeo e le Lancia degli anni Venti e
Trenta, le Rolls Royce, le Mercedes Benz, le Bugatti…
Vetture che si sposano splendidamente con l’eleganza e lo
spirito di Milano Marittima. “Da quattro anni abbiamo
stretto un rapporto bellissimo con Cervia, la sua amministrazione,
i suoi albergatori” spiega Fabio Amadori, appassionato
da sempre di auto e organizzatore dell’iniziativa da
oltre vent’anni. Due decenni in cui la Transappenninica è
cresciuta molto: e oggi può vantare la partecipazione di
auto bellissime ed equipaggi provenienti da ogni parte del
mondo. Non a caso, da ormai sette anni si aggiudica la
Manovella d’oro, massimo riconoscimento da parte
dell’ASI, l’Associazione italiana auto storiche. Ma cosa
attrae maggiormente il pubblico? “La curiosità di vedere
auto vecchie, che però per molti sono assolutamente...
nuove” spiega Amadori. “Vetture di cui hanno sentito parlare,
ma che non si vedono facilmente. La gente viene, è
curiosa, chiede le caratteristiche delle auto, scopre ad
esempio che tutti i pezzi delle Rolls anni 40 erano singole
parti fatte a mano...”.
Nel 2010, la Transappennincia compirà un quarto di secolo.
Ancora a Milano Marittima? “Perché no... però vorrei
partire non la domenica mattina, come accade adesso, ma
organizzare una pre-partenza alle 9 di sera del sabato,
con la presentazione di tutte le macchine una per una...
una vera e propria passerella. Credo che sarebbe un bell’evento!”.

Transappenninica is a real passion. The event (in its 24th year), for four years has begun and
ended here. Departing from Viale Roma in Cervia, and arriving in via Gramsci in Milano Marittima.
It was the 10th of May after the forty vintage cars had crossed the Apennines for a week (through
Viareggio and Liguria) that they arrived at the finish line, having been seen by hundreds of curious
and passionate fans along the way.
There has always been a fascination for the automobile, in particular racing cars, in Romagna. The
spirit of the event is to show once again cars of great historical value, built before 1940, and that
are in perfect condition. These include Alfa Romeos and Lancias from the twenties and thirties, Rolls
Royces, Bugatties… Cars that splendidly combine with the elegance and spirit of Cervia and Milano
Marittima. “For the last four years we have developed an excellent relationship with the local council
and its hotel owners”, explains Fabio Amadori, who has always been passionate about cars and
is the organizer for this event. “In the last two decades the Transappenninica has really grown. Today
we have cars and crews that come from every part of the world. And for the 2010 edition I am
already thinking of great new ideas that involve these streets and all of our cars”.
