MANAGEMENT OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS Prof.ssa Maria Rosita Cagnina Contents The course examines the theories, methodologies and techniques required to manage organizational problems related to the introduction of information systems into organizations. We will analyse the evolution of information systems, the introduction of information technologies in organizational contexts and their impact on organizational and social structures from a change management view. We will focus on: - The relationship between information systems and organizations. - Analysis and design tools for organizational information processes; use of case histories. - Impact on organizational structures (at micro and macro level). In particular we will examine: - The relationship between organization and information technologies - The Dual Approach - IT evolution - Towards a new organizational model for information systems - Analysis and design methodologies for organizational and interorganizational processes - The determinants of user commitment and satisfaction indicators - The management of organizational problems related to post go-live - Case histories
