Contents<br />
The course examines the theories,<br />
methodologies and techniques required<br />
to manage organizational problems related<br />
to the introduction of information systems<br />
into organizations. We will analyse<br />
the evolution of information systems, the<br />
introduction of information technologies<br />
in organizational contexts and their<br />
impact on organizational and social<br />
structures in a change management view.<br />
We will focus on:<br />
- Relations between information systems<br />
and organizations.<br />
- Analysis and design tools for organizational<br />
information processes; use of case<br />
history methodology.<br />
- Impact on organizational structures<br />
(micro and macro levels).<br />
In particular we will examine:<br />
- The relationship between organization<br />
and information technologies.<br />
- The dual approach.<br />
- IT evolution.<br />
- The path to a new organizational model<br />
for information systems.<br />
- Analysis and design methodologies for<br />
organizational and interorganizational<br />
processes.<br />
- The determinants of user commitment<br />
and satisfaction in<strong>di</strong>cators.<br />
