Aims
The Banking economics and management
course focuses in particular on the
problems top management has to cope
with in the decision-making process.
Issues related to the selection of management
objectives and financial equilibrium
and stability will be analysed in detail.
A knowledge of the main issues related to
financial instruments and banking operations
is a pre-requisite.
Contents
Management equilibrium.
Funding operations and own funds.
Asset composition.
Lending operations: criteria and policies.
Management of the financial portfolio.
Liquidity and treasury.
Risk management.
Pre-requisites
The courses of ‘Banking operations techniques’,
‘Financial intermediaries
(advanced course)’ and ‘Corporate finance
(advanced course)’ are preparatory.
