1. SCOPO<br />
Queste istru<strong>zio</strong>ni sono rivolte a chi utilizza la zanzariera o la tenda come <strong>in</strong>s<strong>ta</strong><strong>lla</strong>tore, manutentore, proprie<strong>ta</strong>rio o utente.<br />
Con questo strumento la BETTIO SERVICE SPA <strong>in</strong>tende fornire al Cliente uno strumento di supporto per un uso più consapevo<strong>le</strong> e corretto dei<br />
sistemi di zanzariere e tende filtranti o oscuranti <strong>in</strong>s<strong>ta</strong><strong>lla</strong>ti, al f<strong>in</strong>e di un’ottimizza<strong>zio</strong>ne del<strong>le</strong> loro pres<strong>ta</strong><strong>zio</strong>ni. E’ qu<strong>in</strong>di consigliato per un corretto e<br />
van<strong>ta</strong>ggioso utilizzo del sistema tenere disponibili <strong>le</strong> presenti note ai f<strong>in</strong>i di garantire una rapida consul<strong>ta</strong><strong>zio</strong>ne ogni qualvol<strong>ta</strong> <strong>le</strong> circos<strong>ta</strong>nze lo rendano<br />

Le presenti istru<strong>zio</strong>ni si riferiscono al modello MINISCENICA ® , latera<strong>le</strong> senza barriere da 40, per la qua<strong>le</strong> sono coerentemente adat<strong>ta</strong>ti i contenuti.<br />
3. RIFERIMENTI<br />
Le presenti istru<strong>zio</strong>ni, sono s<strong>ta</strong>te redatte, secondo il punto 1.7.4 de<strong>lla</strong> Direttiva 2006/42/CE e tenendo conto del<strong>le</strong> normali condi<strong>zio</strong>ni di uso de<strong>lla</strong><br />
macch<strong>in</strong>a al f<strong>in</strong>e di <strong>in</strong>formare, uni<strong>ta</strong>mente al<strong>le</strong> altre istru<strong>zio</strong>ni per l’uso apposte su<strong>lla</strong> macch<strong>in</strong>a, gli operatori/utilizzatori anche sui rischi residui che la<br />
stessa presen<strong>ta</strong>.<br />
4. USI PREVISTI<br />
La fun<strong>zio</strong>ne del sistema zanzariera <strong>in</strong>s<strong>ta</strong><strong>lla</strong>to è esclusivamente que<strong>lla</strong> di dare prote<strong>zio</strong>ne contro l’<strong>in</strong>trusione di <strong>in</strong>setti e piccoli animali negli ambienti da<br />
proteggere.<br />
Ogni impiego diverso da quello <strong>in</strong>dicato deve essere considerato improprio, e per<strong>ta</strong>nto vie<strong>ta</strong>to, <strong>in</strong> quanto <strong>le</strong> relative condi<strong>zio</strong>ni di<br />
eserci<strong>zio</strong> non sono s<strong>ta</strong>te considerate nell’ analisi dei rischi condot<strong>ta</strong> dal fabbricante e per i quali potrebbero non essere presenti<br />
prote<strong>zio</strong>ni specifiche. E’ vie<strong>ta</strong>to appoggiarsi a<strong>lla</strong> rete. E’ vie<strong>ta</strong>to lasciare la barra maniglia senza accompagnarla f<strong>in</strong>o al to<strong>ta</strong><strong>le</strong><br />
riavvolgimento de<strong>lla</strong> rete o del tessuto.<br />
Quando la velocità del vento raggiunge i 20 km/h è necessario chiudere la zanzariera o la tenda.<br />
L’uso improprio assolve da ogni responsabilità il costruttore stesso, per eventuali danni causati a persone o cose.<br />
Il mancato rispetto del<strong>le</strong> condi<strong>zio</strong>ni d’uso fa decadere automaticamente qualsiasi tipo di garanzia da<strong>ta</strong> dal produttore.<br />
5. REQUISITI DELL’ OPERATORE<br />
L’uso norma<strong>le</strong> de<strong>lla</strong> zanzariera è consentito ad operatori non professionisti purchè di età superiore ad anni 12.<br />
Le opera<strong>zio</strong>ni di <strong>in</strong>s<strong>ta</strong><strong>lla</strong><strong>zio</strong>ne, ripara<strong>zio</strong>ne e manuten<strong>zio</strong>ne straord<strong>in</strong>aria, devono essere effettuate da persona<strong>le</strong> tecnico qualificato.<br />
6. RACCOMANDAZIONI PER L’INSTALLAZIONE<br />
L’<strong>in</strong>s<strong>ta</strong><strong>lla</strong><strong>zio</strong>ne deve essere esegui<strong>ta</strong> nel pieno rispetto del D.Lgs. 81/2008 e del<strong>le</strong> successive modifiche e <strong>in</strong>tegra<strong>zio</strong>ni, per tutto ciò che attiene la<br />
sicurezza del<strong>le</strong> persone.<br />
Il committente e l’<strong>in</strong>s<strong>ta</strong><strong>lla</strong>tore sono rispettivamente responsabili ai sensi de<strong>lla</strong> <strong>le</strong>gge vigente, <strong>in</strong> materia di sicurezza.<br />

E’ necessario contro<strong>lla</strong>re, prima dell’utilizzo, che trabattelli, ponteggi, sca<strong>le</strong> e tutti i dispositivi di prote<strong>zio</strong>ne <strong>in</strong>dividua<strong>le</strong><br />
(imbracature, c<strong>in</strong>ghie di sicurezza, guanti, scarpe di sicurezza, elmetti, ecc.), eventualmente utilizzati, siano a norma ed <strong>in</strong> buono s<strong>ta</strong>to.<br />
Utilizzare i mezzi d’imbracatura adeguati.<br />
Nel caso gli <strong>in</strong>s<strong>ta</strong><strong>lla</strong>tori siano più di uno, è necessario coord<strong>in</strong>are i lavori, def<strong>in</strong>ire i compiti e <strong>le</strong> responsabilità. Gli operatori devono compor<strong>ta</strong>rsi <strong>in</strong><br />
conformità al<strong>le</strong> istru<strong>zio</strong>ni di sicurezza ricevute (POS). Nel caso <strong>in</strong> cui il prodotto debba essere mon<strong>ta</strong>to ad un piano e<strong>le</strong>vato rispetto a quello di terra, è<br />
necessario delimi<strong>ta</strong>re e presidiare l’area durante la sali<strong>ta</strong> al piano del prodotto <strong>in</strong> modo che nessuno possa trovarsi sotto l’eventua<strong>le</strong> carico sospeso.<br />
L’imballo del prodotto contiene <strong>le</strong> istru<strong>zio</strong>ni di mon<strong>ta</strong>ggio, d’uso, manuten<strong>zio</strong>ne e garanzia: l’<strong>in</strong>s<strong>ta</strong><strong>lla</strong>tore deve accer<strong>ta</strong>rsi che siano consegnate,<br />
previa <strong>le</strong>ttura e commento, all’utilizzatore f<strong>in</strong>a<strong>le</strong>.<br />
7. INSTALLAZIONE DELLA STRUTTURA MECCANICA<br />
Una <strong>in</strong>s<strong>ta</strong><strong>lla</strong><strong>zio</strong>ne non corret<strong>ta</strong> può essere causa di <strong>in</strong>fortuni al<strong>le</strong> persone. Leggere atten<strong>ta</strong>mente <strong>le</strong> istru<strong>zio</strong>ni per un fissaggio corretto<br />
del prodotto <strong>in</strong> modo da evi<strong>ta</strong>re rischi di cadu<strong>ta</strong> dello stesso.<br />
E’ necessario verificare lo s<strong>ta</strong>to de<strong>lla</strong> struttura su<strong>lla</strong> qua<strong>le</strong> viene effettuato l’ancoraggio/fissaggio de<strong>lla</strong> zanzariera.<br />
In realtà lo sforzo d<strong>in</strong>amico cui il telaio dovrà resistere con la zanzariera comp<strong>le</strong><strong>ta</strong>mente svol<strong>ta</strong> dal cassonetto, è quello del vento che soffia a 130<br />
km/h. In presenza di mattoni forati utilizzare <strong>ta</strong>sselli espansibili con co<strong>lla</strong>nte chimico di adeguate dimensioni. Nel caso non siano rispet<strong>ta</strong>ti i requisiti di<br />
resistenza necessari ad un fissaggio <strong>in</strong> sicurezza, aumen<strong>ta</strong>re il numero di <strong>ta</strong>sselli e viti. La scel<strong>ta</strong> del<strong>le</strong> viti e dei <strong>ta</strong>sselli di ancoraggio, dipende anche<br />
dallo s<strong>ta</strong>to e da<strong>lla</strong> natura de<strong>lla</strong> struttura muraria/me<strong>ta</strong>llica/serramento su<strong>lla</strong> qua<strong>le</strong> si effettua l’<strong>in</strong>s<strong>ta</strong><strong>lla</strong><strong>zio</strong>ne/fissaggio. I <strong>ta</strong>sselli e <strong>le</strong> viti non sono forniti con<br />
il prodotto. Fare atten<strong>zio</strong>ne ne<strong>lla</strong> manipola<strong>zio</strong>ne del prodotto: gli avvolgitori sono mon<strong>ta</strong>ti con mol<strong>le</strong> cariche. Le istru<strong>zio</strong>ni di posa <strong>in</strong> opera, sono descritte<br />
nel foglio contenuto nell’imballo.L’eventua<strong>le</strong> attività di sigi<strong>lla</strong>tura sarà esegui<strong>ta</strong> con res<strong>in</strong>a siliconica neutra.<br />
Quando la velocità del vento raggiunge i 20 km/h è necessario chiudere la zanzariera.<br />
8. MANUTENZIONE<br />
8.1 Manuten<strong>zio</strong>ne ord<strong>in</strong>aria<br />
Da<strong>ta</strong> l’al<strong>ta</strong> qualità dei materiali impiegati ne<strong>lla</strong> costru<strong>zio</strong>ne de<strong>lla</strong> zanzariera, non è previs<strong>ta</strong> alcuna manuten<strong>zio</strong>ne ord<strong>in</strong>aria tranne l’eventua<strong>le</strong> pulizia<br />
de<strong>lla</strong> rete per salvaguardarla da<strong>lla</strong> forma<strong>zio</strong>ne di muffe causate dal deposito di polveri o altro materia<strong>le</strong> su<strong>lla</strong> stessa.<br />
La rete, deve essere contro<strong>lla</strong><strong>ta</strong> visivamente almeno 2 volte all’anno: <strong>in</strong> primavera prima dell’utilizzo per la s<strong>ta</strong>gione estiva ed <strong>in</strong> autunno prima de<strong>lla</strong> chiusura<br />
<strong>in</strong>verna<strong>le</strong>. La pulizia de<strong>lla</strong> rete può essere effettua<strong>ta</strong> con aspira<strong>zio</strong>ne de<strong>lla</strong> polvere, oppure con spugna o panno umido utilizzando acqua tiepida.<br />
Fare asciugare la rete dopo la pulizia e prima dell’avvolgimento. Per la pulizia, NON utilizzare solventi-ammoniaca-idrocarburi.<br />
ATTENZIONE: la pulizia con sca<strong>le</strong>, trabattelli o altro è riserva<strong>ta</strong> a persona<strong>le</strong> specializzato che dovrà eseguire <strong>le</strong> opera<strong>zio</strong>ni nel rispetto<br />
del<strong>le</strong> norme di sicurezza e dovrà utilizzare i dispositivi di prote<strong>zio</strong>ne <strong>in</strong>dividua<strong>le</strong> quali imbracature di sicurezza con fune di trattenu<strong>ta</strong> (vedi<br />
D.Lgs. 81/2008).<br />

8.2 Manuten<strong>zio</strong>ne straord<strong>in</strong>aria<br />
ATTENZIONE: tutte <strong>le</strong> opera<strong>zio</strong>ni di manuten<strong>zio</strong>ne straord<strong>in</strong>aria devono essere effettuate da persona<strong>le</strong> professionalmente qualificato ed<br />
addestrato: per<strong>ta</strong>nto è necessario richiedere l’<strong>in</strong>tervento dello specialis<strong>ta</strong>. Vedere <strong>le</strong> istru<strong>zio</strong>ni di <strong>in</strong>s<strong>ta</strong><strong>lla</strong><strong>zio</strong>ne di posa <strong>in</strong> opera per l’eventua<strong>le</strong><br />
smon<strong>ta</strong>ggio de<strong>lla</strong> zanzariera, o di parti di essa.<br />
In presenza di strappi su<strong>lla</strong> rete, anche di picco<strong>le</strong> dimensioni, è necessario provvedere a<strong>lla</strong> sua sostitu<strong>zio</strong>ne.<br />
Usare parti di ricambio orig<strong>in</strong>ali, pena la decadenza de<strong>lla</strong> garanzia.<br />
9. GARANZIA<br />
La garanzia si applica <strong>in</strong> rela<strong>zio</strong>ne ai contenuti del D.Lgs. n.24 del 02.02.2002. La dura<strong>ta</strong> de<strong>lla</strong> Garanzia è di 24 mesi (o maggiore quando esplici<strong>ta</strong>mente<br />
<strong>in</strong>dicato) per <strong>le</strong> Persone fisiche che acquis<strong>ta</strong>no il prodotto per scopi che possono considerarsi estranei a<strong>lla</strong> loro attività professiona<strong>le</strong> (Cliente<br />
privato f<strong>in</strong>a<strong>le</strong>). E’ di 12 mesi se il prodotto è fatturato ad un’Impresa o Professione soggetto di IVA.<br />
La garanzia si riconosce sul fun<strong>zio</strong>namento del prodotto e sui materiali che lo compongono, esclusi i danni <strong>in</strong>diretti. Non vengono co<strong>in</strong>volti<br />
nel concetto di garanzia eventuali costi sostenuti per raggiungere il luogo dove si trova il prodotto oggetto di garanzia ed eventuali<br />
costi di <strong>in</strong>s<strong>ta</strong><strong>lla</strong><strong>zio</strong>ne o rimo<strong>zio</strong>ne.<br />
Poiché è prassi utilizzare il documento fisca<strong>le</strong> di vendi<strong>ta</strong> per dare validità e da<strong>ta</strong> cer<strong>ta</strong> a<strong>lla</strong> garanzia, lo stesso documento ne determ<strong>in</strong>erà la dura<strong>ta</strong>.<br />
9.1 Norme per la validità de<strong>lla</strong> Garanzia<br />
Rispet<strong>ta</strong>re l’uso consentito del prodotto. Rispet<strong>ta</strong>re <strong>le</strong> norme d’uso e manuten<strong>zio</strong>ne. La garanzia sarà valida solo se accompagna<strong>ta</strong> dal documento<br />
di vendi<strong>ta</strong>, comprovante la da<strong>ta</strong> d’acquisto. L’<strong>in</strong>s<strong>ta</strong><strong>lla</strong><strong>zio</strong>ne, così come la manuten<strong>zio</strong>ne obbligatoria, dovrà essere effettua<strong>ta</strong> solo ed esclusivamente<br />
da un <strong>in</strong>s<strong>ta</strong><strong>lla</strong>tore specializzato; entrambe dovranno essere comprovate con il documento fisca<strong>le</strong> relativo a ques<strong>ta</strong> garanzia.<br />
9.2 Decadimento de<strong>lla</strong> Garanzia.<br />
- Uso improprio del prodotto <strong>in</strong> occasione di vento, pioggia, grand<strong>in</strong>e, neve e/o altri eventi comb<strong>in</strong>ati.<br />
- Cedimento de<strong>lla</strong> parte dove il prodotto è s<strong>ta</strong>to ancorato.<br />
- Manomissione del prodotto; <strong>in</strong>s<strong>ta</strong><strong>lla</strong><strong>zio</strong>ne, smon<strong>ta</strong>ggio, manuten<strong>zio</strong>ne non effettuati da <strong>in</strong>s<strong>ta</strong><strong>lla</strong>tore specializzato o non effettuati secondo <strong>le</strong> norme<br />
e <strong>le</strong> istru<strong>zio</strong>ni di mon<strong>ta</strong>ggio.<br />
- Manca<strong>ta</strong> manuten<strong>zio</strong>ne obbligatoria entro i term<strong>in</strong>i s<strong>ta</strong>biliti.<br />
- Uso di parti di ricambio non orig<strong>in</strong>ali BETTIO SERVICE SPA.<br />
- Rimo<strong>zio</strong>ne od occul<strong>ta</strong>mento dell’etichet<strong>ta</strong> identificativa BETTIO SERVICE SPA, per cui la r<strong>in</strong>tracciabilità del prodotto non risul<strong>ta</strong> possibi<strong>le</strong>.<br />

unico foro competente quello di Venezia.<br />
10. IMBALLO MOVIMENTAZIONE E TRASPORTO<br />
La zanzariera è imba<strong>lla</strong><strong>ta</strong> con film estensibi<strong>le</strong> MDT per proteggere e bloccare l’<strong>in</strong>telaiatura durante il trasporto, se effettuato con i nostri mezzi o ritirato<br />
diret<strong>ta</strong>mente dal cliente presso la nostra sede. Se <strong>in</strong>vece il trasporto de<strong>lla</strong> zanzariera avviene tramite un corriere allora il prodotto viene imba<strong>lla</strong>to con<br />
film estensibi<strong>le</strong> MDT e poi <strong>in</strong>serito <strong>in</strong> scato<strong>le</strong> di cartone riempite a loro vol<strong>ta</strong> con sacchetti d’aria al f<strong>in</strong>e di proteggere e bloccare la struttura durante la<br />
movimen<strong>ta</strong><strong>zio</strong>ne ed il trasporto. Date <strong>le</strong> dimensioni e la forma del prodotto, è necessario, oltre la misura <strong>in</strong> lunghezza di 240 cm, effettuare la movimen<strong>ta</strong><strong>zio</strong>ne<br />
manua<strong>le</strong> <strong>in</strong> due persone.<br />
L’imballo contiene <strong>le</strong> istru<strong>zio</strong>ni di mon<strong>ta</strong>ggio, d’uso, manuten<strong>zio</strong>ne e garanzia: il mon<strong>ta</strong>tore deve accer<strong>ta</strong>rsi che siano consegnate, previa<br />
<strong>le</strong>ttura e commento, all’utilizzatore f<strong>in</strong>a<strong>le</strong>.<br />
Non lasciare a<strong>lla</strong> por<strong>ta</strong><strong>ta</strong> dei bamb<strong>in</strong>i i materiali d’imballo, possono costituire fonte di pericolo per gli stessi.<br />

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND MAINTENANCE (TRANSLATION OF ORIGINAL INSTRUCTIONS)<br />
1. PURPOSE<br />
These <strong>in</strong>structions are <strong>in</strong>tended for those who use the flyscreen, such as the <strong>in</strong>s<strong>ta</strong>l<strong>le</strong>r, ma<strong>in</strong>tenance person, owner or user.<br />
With this <strong>in</strong>struction book<strong>le</strong>t BETTIO SERVICE SPA wishes to provide Customers with a tool for better, correct use of <strong>in</strong>s<strong>ta</strong>l<strong>le</strong>d flyscreens and light<br />
filter<strong>in</strong>g or blackout bl<strong>in</strong>ds, so as to optimize their performance. For correct and best use of the system it is therefore recommended that these notes<br />
be kept to hand for quick reference whenever required. Supp<strong>le</strong>men<strong>ta</strong>ry <strong>in</strong>formation may be had <strong>in</strong> the Operat<strong>in</strong>g and Ma<strong>in</strong>tenance Guide and the<br />
Technical Fi<strong>le</strong> availab<strong>le</strong> at the Company’s offices.<br />
2. SCOPE<br />
These <strong>in</strong>structions refer to the follow<strong>in</strong>g model: MINISCENICA ®, lateral 40 without barriers, for which the contents are sui<strong>ta</strong>bly adapted.<br />
3. REFERENCES<br />
These <strong>in</strong>structions have been prepared, as have other <strong>in</strong>structions for use applied to the product, <strong>in</strong> accordance with po<strong>in</strong>t 1.7.4 of Directive 2006/42/<br />
EC <strong>ta</strong>k<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong>to consideration normal conditions of use of the product, to <strong>in</strong>form operators and users also of the residual risks that the product presents.<br />
4. ENVISAGED USE<br />
The function of the <strong>in</strong>s<strong>ta</strong>l<strong>le</strong>d flyscreen system is so<strong>le</strong>ly to provide protection aga<strong>in</strong>st the <strong>in</strong>trusion of <strong>in</strong>sects and small animals <strong>in</strong>to the environments to<br />
be protected.<br />
Any use other than has been described above is considered <strong>in</strong>correct and is therefore forbidden, s<strong>in</strong>ce the relative work<strong>in</strong>g<br />
conditions will not have been <strong>ta</strong>ken <strong>in</strong>to account when the manufacturer analysed the risks and consequently there could be no<br />
specific protective devices fitted. Do not <strong>le</strong>an aga<strong>in</strong>st the mesh. Do not <strong>le</strong>t go of the hand<strong>le</strong> rail until the mesh is fully rewound.<br />
Misuse relieves the manufacturer from all liability for any <strong>in</strong>jury to persons or damage to property.<br />
Failure to comply with the conditions of use automatically <strong>in</strong>validates any type of warranty given by the manufacturer.<br />
5. OPERATOR REQUIREMENTS<br />
Normal use of the flyscreen is allowed for non-professional users provided they are aged 12 and over. Ins<strong>ta</strong><strong>lla</strong>tion, repair and extraord<strong>in</strong>ary ma<strong>in</strong>tenance<br />
must be carried out by qualified technical personnel.<br />
6. RECOMMENDATIONS FOR INSTALLATION<br />
Ins<strong>ta</strong><strong>lla</strong>tion must be carried out <strong>in</strong> full compliance with I<strong>ta</strong>lian Legislative Decree 81/2008 and subsequent amendments and additions for all that concerns<br />
the safety of persons. In accordance with current laws, the client and the <strong>in</strong>s<strong>ta</strong>l<strong>le</strong>r are both responsib<strong>le</strong> with regard to safety. Before us<strong>in</strong>g any<br />
equipment such as drills, screwdrivers, work platforms, scaffold<strong>in</strong>g, steps and all personal protection equipment (sl<strong>in</strong>gs/harness, safety belts, gloves,<br />
safety shoes, helmets, etc.), check that they are <strong>in</strong> compliance with regulations and <strong>in</strong> good condition. Use sui<strong>ta</strong>b<strong>le</strong> sl<strong>in</strong>gs or harnesses. If there is<br />
more than one <strong>in</strong>s<strong>ta</strong>l<strong>le</strong>r, the work must be coord<strong>in</strong>ated and the <strong>ta</strong>sks and responsibilities def<strong>in</strong>ed. Users must abide by the applicab<strong>le</strong> safety <strong>in</strong>structions<br />
received (POS). If the product is to be <strong>in</strong>s<strong>ta</strong>l<strong>le</strong>d on any floor above ground <strong>le</strong>vel, the area must be cordoned off and supervised whi<strong>le</strong> the product<br />
is be<strong>in</strong>g raised to the re<strong>le</strong>vant floor so that no person is under any suspended load.<br />
7. INSTALLATION OF THE MECHANICAL STRUCTURE<br />
Incorrect <strong>in</strong>s<strong>ta</strong><strong>lla</strong>tion can cause <strong>in</strong>jury to persons. Carefully read the <strong>in</strong>structions for correct fix<strong>in</strong>g of the product so that there is no risk of<br />
it fall<strong>in</strong>g down.<br />

The s<strong>ta</strong>te of the structure on which the flyscreen will be fixed must be checked on the basis of the dynamic stress that the frame must<br />
withs<strong>ta</strong>nd with the flyscreen fully unwound from the cassette, and that is a w<strong>in</strong>d speed of 130 km/h. With hollow bricks use sui<strong>ta</strong>bly sized<br />
expansion plugs with chemical adhesive.<br />
If the resis<strong>ta</strong>nce requirements necessary for safe fix<strong>in</strong>g are not satisfied, <strong>in</strong>crease the number of wall plugs and screws. The screws and wall plugs<br />
also depend on the s<strong>ta</strong>te and the nature of the structure, masonry/me<strong>ta</strong>l/wood w<strong>in</strong>dow/door frame, onto which the <strong>in</strong>s<strong>ta</strong><strong>lla</strong>tion/fix<strong>in</strong>g is to be carried<br />
out. Wall plugs and screws are not supplied with the product. Take care when handl<strong>in</strong>g the product: the w<strong>in</strong>der mechanisms are mounted with loaded<br />
spr<strong>in</strong>gs. The <strong>in</strong>structions for <strong>in</strong>s<strong>ta</strong><strong>lla</strong>tion are described on the sheet con<strong>ta</strong><strong>in</strong>ed <strong>in</strong> the pack. Any seal<strong>in</strong>g must be done with neutral silicone res<strong>in</strong>. The<br />
flyscreen must be closed when the w<strong>in</strong>d speed reaches 20 km/h.<br />
8. MAINTENANCE<br />
8.1 Rout<strong>in</strong>e ma<strong>in</strong>tenance<br />
Given the high quality of the materials used <strong>in</strong> mak<strong>in</strong>g the flyscreen, no rout<strong>in</strong>e ma<strong>in</strong>tenance is envisaged other than c<strong>le</strong>an<strong>in</strong>g the mesh to protect it<br />
aga<strong>in</strong>st the formation of mould/mildew caused by dust or other material be<strong>in</strong>g deposited on them. The mesh must be visually <strong>in</strong>spected at <strong>le</strong>ast twice<br />
a year; a mesh screen should be checked <strong>in</strong> spr<strong>in</strong>g before be<strong>in</strong>g used for the summer and <strong>in</strong> autumn before pack<strong>in</strong>g it up for the w<strong>in</strong>ter.<br />
The mesh may be c<strong>le</strong>aned with a vacuum c<strong>le</strong>aner; the mesh may also be c<strong>le</strong>aned with a sponge or cloth dampened with lukewarm water. Let the<br />
mesh dry thoroughly after c<strong>le</strong>an<strong>in</strong>g before w<strong>in</strong>d<strong>in</strong>g it up. Do NOT use solvents, ammonia or hydrocarbons for c<strong>le</strong>an<strong>in</strong>g.<br />
CAUTION: c<strong>le</strong>an<strong>in</strong>g carried out us<strong>in</strong>g steps, platforms or such must only be done by specialised personnel work<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> conformity with<br />
safety regulations and who must use sui<strong>ta</strong>b<strong>le</strong> personal protective equipment such as body harnesses with separate safety l<strong>in</strong>e (see I<strong>ta</strong>lian<br />
Legislative Decree 81/2008).<br />
8.2 Extraord<strong>in</strong>ary ma<strong>in</strong>tenance<br />
CAUTION: only professionally qualified and tra<strong>in</strong>ed personnel may carry out extraord<strong>in</strong>ary ma<strong>in</strong>tenance: it is therefore necessary to<br />
request the service of a specialist. If the flyscreen or any part of it needs to be dismant<strong>le</strong>d, see the <strong>in</strong>s<strong>ta</strong><strong>lla</strong>tion <strong>in</strong>structions. If the mesh is torn,<br />
however small the tear, it must be replaced.<br />
Only use orig<strong>in</strong>al spare parts otherwise the warranty is <strong>in</strong>validated.<br />
9. WARRANTY<br />
The warranty is applicab<strong>le</strong> <strong>in</strong> relation to the contents of I<strong>ta</strong>lian Legislative Decree No. 24 of 02.02.2002. The Warranty is for 24 months (or more when<br />
explicitly <strong>in</strong>dicated) and covers natural persons who purchase the product for purposes that may be considered unrelated to their professional activity<br />
(private end customer). The warranty is for 12 months if the product is <strong>in</strong>voiced to a Company or Professional office subject to VAT.<br />
The warranty covers any part or parts which are shown to be defective due to faulty material or workmanship. The company will not be responsib<strong>le</strong><br />
for any <strong>in</strong>ciden<strong>ta</strong>l or consequential damage or <strong>in</strong>jury. The warranty does not cover any costs <strong>in</strong>curred to reach the place where the product is <strong>in</strong>s<strong>ta</strong>l<strong>le</strong>d<br />
nor any costs for <strong>in</strong>s<strong>ta</strong><strong>lla</strong>tion or removal. As is accepted practice, the orig<strong>in</strong>al <strong>in</strong>voice or receipt is evidence of the date of purchase and therefore of<br />
the validity and duration of the warranty.<br />
9.1 Ru<strong>le</strong>s for the Warranty to be valid<br />
-Comply with the allowed use of the product.<br />
-Comply with the <strong>in</strong>structions for use and ma<strong>in</strong>tenance.<br />

-The warranty will only be valid if accompanied by the <strong>in</strong>voice or receipt giv<strong>in</strong>g evidence of the date of purchase.<br />
-Only a specialised <strong>in</strong>s<strong>ta</strong>l<strong>le</strong>r must carry out <strong>in</strong>s<strong>ta</strong><strong>lla</strong>tion and compulsory ma<strong>in</strong>tenance, proof of which must be shown by means<br />
of the <strong>ta</strong>xation document with regard to this warranty.<br />
9.2 Invalidation of the Warranty.<br />
- Misuse of the product <strong>in</strong> the presence of w<strong>in</strong>d, ra<strong>in</strong>, hail, snow or other comb<strong>in</strong>ed events.<br />
- Co<strong>lla</strong>pse of the part where the product has been anchored.<br />
- Tamper<strong>in</strong>g with the product; <strong>in</strong>s<strong>ta</strong><strong>lla</strong>tion, dismantl<strong>in</strong>g and ma<strong>in</strong>tenance not carried out by a specialised <strong>in</strong>s<strong>ta</strong>l<strong>le</strong>r or not carried out <strong>in</strong> accordance with<br />
regulations and <strong>in</strong>s<strong>ta</strong><strong>lla</strong>tion <strong>in</strong>structions.<br />
- Failure to have compulsory ma<strong>in</strong>tenance carried out with<strong>in</strong> the es<strong>ta</strong>blished times.<br />
- Use of other than BETTIO SERVICE SPA orig<strong>in</strong>al spare parts.<br />
- Removal or concealment of the BETTIO SERVICE SPA identification label mak<strong>in</strong>g traceability of the product impossib<strong>le</strong>.<br />
For other specific exclusions from the Warranty, see any notes specified by the Company. For all and any dispute the so<strong>le</strong> place of jurisdiction is<br />
Venice.<br />
10. PACKAGING, HANDLING AND TRANSPORTATION<br />
The flyscreen is packed <strong>in</strong> stretch film to protect and wedge the framework dur<strong>in</strong>g transpor<strong>ta</strong>tion, if delivered with our means of transport or col<strong>le</strong>cted<br />
directly by the customer from our place of bus<strong>in</strong>ess.<br />
If the flyscreen is transported by a carrier, then the product is packed with stretch film and then <strong>in</strong>serted <strong>in</strong>to cardboard boxes fil<strong>le</strong>d with<br />
airbags to protect and wedge the structure dur<strong>in</strong>g handl<strong>in</strong>g and transpor<strong>ta</strong>tion. Given the size and shape of the product, when it is longer<br />
than 240 cm it must be hand<strong>le</strong>d by two persons. The packag<strong>in</strong>g con<strong>ta</strong><strong>in</strong>s the <strong>in</strong>structions for <strong>in</strong>s<strong>ta</strong><strong>lla</strong>tion, use and ma<strong>in</strong>tenance as well as<br />
the warranty: the <strong>in</strong>s<strong>ta</strong>l<strong>le</strong>r must ensure that they are read over, expla<strong>in</strong>ed and then given to the end user.<br />
Keep the packag<strong>in</strong>g materials out of reach of children, s<strong>in</strong>ce they can be a source of danger.<br />
11. LIST OF RISKS<br />
11.1 Ins<strong>ta</strong><strong>lla</strong>tion: <strong>ta</strong>ke all the necessary precautions on site especially <strong>in</strong> respect of the risks of fall.<br />
11.2 Risks related to use and rout<strong>in</strong>e ma<strong>in</strong>tenance.<br />

- danger of fall dur<strong>in</strong>g c<strong>le</strong>an<strong>in</strong>g of mesh: avoid <strong>le</strong>an<strong>in</strong>g out of w<strong>in</strong>dows or only do so us<strong>in</strong>g sui<strong>ta</strong>b<strong>le</strong> equipment.<br />
11.3 Risks related to ma<strong>in</strong>tenance/repair:<br />
a) danger of impact dur<strong>in</strong>g spr<strong>in</strong>g load<strong>in</strong>g/re<strong>le</strong>ase operations<br />
b) danger of <strong>in</strong>correct refitt<strong>in</strong>g of the flyscreen after mesh replacement<br />
c) danger due to failure to use equipment and to PPE that do not bear the EC mark<br />
