oggetto di un piano di ristrutturazione
che ha riguardato una forte riduzione
dellʼorganico e relativo costo del lavoro
insieme alle spese generali ma anche
una semplificazione e riorganizzazione
della gamma prodotti.
Sono stati rivisti tutti i prodotti,
in particolare nel tonnellaggio
delle presse a favore di una riduzione
del numero di modelli, e, per una miglior
risposta alle necessità del mercato,
lʼintroduzione di una nuova pressa
elettrica (Vesta) e la nuova ibrida (Janus)
che ha avuto un ottimo riscontro
commerciale.
Nel corso del 2010, per due trimestri,
Negri Bossi ha raggiunto il Break Even
e ridotto fortemente le perdite rispetto
allʼesercizio precedente: risutati
incoraggianti nel percorso, che auspica
lʼazzeramento delle perdite economiche
nel 2011.
Per quanto riguarda il settore ceramico
la newco INTESA, creata a fine 2009
e dedicata alla vagliatura (ha ottenuto
la rappresentanza mondiale del marchio
Cuccolini) e alla decorazione digitale,
si sta rivelando determinante,
permettendo a SACMI di giocare
un ruolo primario nel segmento
della smaltatura, nel quale, da alcuni
anni stanno avvenendo i maggiori
cambiamenti di processo.
Anche Nuova Fima e Surface Inspection,
consisting of the Milan-based company
and French, Spanish and British
branches, has for some time now been
the focus of a restructuring plan involving
significant cuts to the workforce and,
therefore, the associated labour costs.
This has been accompanied by a
reduction in general expenditure
and simplification and reorganisation
of the product range.
All the products have been revised,
with changes largely concerning press
tonnage, resulting in a reduction
in the number of models.
Moreover, to provide a more effective
response to market needs the group also
introduced a new electric press (Vesta)
and the new hybrid press (Janus), sales
of which have been numerous.
For two quarters in 2010 Negri Bossi
reached the break-even point and greatly
reduced its losses with respect to
the previous year: these encouraging
results lay the foundation for an
elimination of losses in 2011.
In the ceramic sector the end of 2009
saw the founding of newco INTESA,
a specialist in sieving (and also
the worldwide representative of the
Cuccolini brand) and digital decoration.
This crucial newco allows SACMI to play
a key role in the glazing segment, which
has undergone major process changes
in recent years.
