La produzione del fusto richiede un notevole impegno
Mantenendo fede ad una speciale tecnica di produzione di Pelikan, il materiale di
cotone grezzo subisce numerose fasi di lavorazione, finchè non si trasforma in un foglio
a righe. A questo punto viene modellato, sabbiato e tagliato a forma di cilindro
con l’ausilio di un diamante. Successivamente vengono integrati gli anellini dorati
su quello che diventerà il fusto della penna o il cappuccio. Un lavoro svolto con una
precisione estrema, per ottenere una struttura che non presenti alcun punto di
giunzione tra un materiale e l’altro. Lo strumento di scrittura viene quindi lucidato e
poi, come ultima fase, viene montato il fermaglio, caratterizzato da un lieve effetto a
molla e dalla classica forma a “becco di pellicano”.

Adhering to a special Pelikan recipe, the raw material cotton is processed in many
steps until it is shaped into a striped sheet. It is then shaped, sanded, and cut into
the right shape with a diamond. Next, the characteristic double clips at the back of
the barrel and on the cap are integrated into the material with highest precision
in order to obtain a virtually seamless transition between the materials. Then the
writing instrument is polished to a high sheen before, as a last step, the slightly
springy clip with its famous, stylized Pelikan is mounted.

En accord avec une technique de fabrication particulière à Pelikan, le coton utilisé
passe par de nombreuses étapes jusqu’à obtenir une fine feuille rayée. Il est alors
façonné, poncé et taillé avec un diamant à la forme exacte du stylo. Les attributs,
doubles bagues situées à l’arrière du corps et sur le capuchon, sont ensuite intégrés
au stylo avec la plus grande précision pour obtenir une transition uniforme entre les
matières. L’ instrument d’écriture est alors poli pour obtenir une brillance extrême
avant que l’attache légèrement flexible, ornée du célèbre Pélican, ne soit montée sur
le stylo.
