1 Castello
Viene menzionato a partire dal XII secolo ma trova indubbiamente
radici più lontane. Pervenuto nelle mani del vescovo, assistette da
protagonista a parecchi fatti storici: fra questi la fuga rocambolesca
del Piccinino o l’assalto da parte di alcuni congiurati in accordo
con i conti Lodron. Fra il Quattrocento e il Cinquecento venne
restaurato dai vescovi Giovanni Hinderbach e Bernardo Clesio,
per subire nuovi danni nel 1703 da parte del Vendôme.
Ristrutturato negli anni recenti, il castello conserva le mura
perimetrali e alcuni edifici residenziali, mentre la torre quadrata
è rovinata nel 1920. È di proprietà privata e non visitabile.
Die Burg existierte seit dem 12. Jh.,
aber ihre tatsächliche Errichtung
liegt wesentlich weiter zurück.
Nachdem sie an den Bischof
übergegangen war, stand sie im
Mittelpunkt zahlreicher historischer
Ereignisse: die waghalsige Flucht
von Piccinino und den Ansturm
seitens einiger Verbündeter der
Grafen Lodron. Im 15. und 16. Jh.
veranlassen die Bischöfe Giovanni
Hinderbach und Bernardo Clesio
Restaurierungsarbeiten; im 1703
wurde von Vendôme zunichte
gemacht. Neuerlich restauriert
bewahrte sie ihre
Umfassungsmauern und einige
Wohngebäude, der viereckige
Hauptturm wurde 1920 zerstört.
Die Burg ist heute in Privatbesitz.
