This elegant 18 century villa is situated in piazza Antonio Gazzoletti in
Nago. A stone plaque on the facade commemorates the birth here of
Antonio Gazzoletti (1813-1866), jurist, patriot, poet and member of
Parliament of the Kingdom of Sardinia.
10 12 Parrocchiale di San Vigilio
I primi documenti la menzionano nel 1194. Le sue origini sono
comunque più antiche e si legano al culto del santo patrono della
diocesi di Trento. Nel 1203 diventa collegiata, fornendo
sostentamento materiale e spirituale a diversi chierici e sacerdoti.
Importanti lavori di ampliamento eseguiti alla fine del XVI secolo
giunsero probabilmente a modificare l'antica pianta romanica e a
mutarne l'orientamento. È stata poi rimaneggiata in tempi
relativamente recenti con l'aggiunta delle due cappelle laterali e il
prolungamento dell'abside. Bella l'antica e possente torre campanaria,
così il portale del 1569 che reca inciso lo stemma dei Madruzzo.
Erste Dokumente weisen auf ihre Errichtung im Jahr 1194 hin. Ihr Ursprung
ist in jedem Fall wesentlich älter und wird mit dem Kult des Schutzpatrons
der Diözese von Trento in Verbindung gebracht. 1203 wird sie zur
Stiftskirche, zur Schmiede von etlichen Geistlichen und Priestern.
Ausbauarbeiten, gegen Ende des 16. Jh., veränderten vermutlich den
ehemals romanischen Grundriss. Vor nicht allzu langer Zeiten wurde die
Kirche durch zwei Seitenkapellen ergänzt und die Verlängerung der
Altarnische. Zu ihr gehören ein schöner, imposanter Glockenturm sowie ein
Portal, aus dem Jahr 1569, mit dem eingemeißelten Wappen der Madruzzo.
First mentioned in 1194, it would seem have far more ancient origins
connected with the cult of the patron saint of the diocese of Trent. In 1203,
it became a collegiate church, providing material and spiritual sustenance
to a number of clerics and priests. Major extensions were carried out at the

end of the 16 century which probably modified the old Romanesque floor
plan and the orientation. It was then renovated in more recent times with
the addition of two side chapels and the lengthening of the apse. It has a
magnificent imposing bell tower, like the doorway dated 1569, which bears
the coat of arms of the house of Madruzzo.
10 13 Casa Sighele
Situata lungo la contrada principale di Nago
dove è stato collocato il busto bronzeo e
un'epigrafe dettata da Ugo Ojetti in onore
del grande sociologo, scrittore e patriota
(1868-1913). I due portici a piano terra
ospitano le vecchie fontane del paese che si
ritiene fossero alimentate dall'acqua del
Lago di Loppio.
Das Haus befindet sich an der Hauptstraße bzw.
im Ortskern von Nago. Eine Bronzestatue und
eine Inschrift zu Ehren von Ugo Ojetti, dem
großen Soziologen, Schriftsteller und Patriot
(1868-1913) schmücken die Außenfassade. Die
beiden Bogengänge im Erdgeschoss bieten den
alten Dorfbrunnen Platz, die vermutlich durch das
Wasser des Lago di Loppio gespeist wurden.
Situated along the main street of Nago where a
bronze bust and inscription by Ugo Ojetti
commemorates the great sociologist, writer and
patriot (1868-1913). The two porticos on the ground
floor shelter the old town fountains which are
believed to be fed by the waters of Lake Loppio.
