17 Chiesa di San Giuseppe
I documenti la citano all'inizio del
Seicento ma si può ritenere che
sia sorta almeno un secolo
prima. Di fianco alla chiesa,
presso il canale (Fitta), una
lapide ricorda la casa dove nel
1858 nacque Giovanni
Segantini, padre del
Divisionismo.
Laut Dokumenten existiert diese
Kirche seit den ersten Jahren des
17. Jh., aber Experten sind der
Meinung, dass sie schon
mindestens ein Jahrhundert vorher
erbaut wurde. Neben der Kirche,
beim Kanal (Fitta), erinnert eine
Gedenktafel an das Geburtshaus
von Giovanni Segantini (1858), des
„Erfinders“ vom Pointillismus.

Documents mention it as early as the beginning of the 17 century, but
there are reasons to believe it was built at least a century earlier. Beside the
church, at the ditch (Fitta), a stone plaque marks the house where Giovanni
Segantini, the father of divisionism, was born in 1858.
18 Palazzo dei Panni
Costruito nel secolo XVII per volontà di Gianbattista d'Arco,
nell'Ottocento venne adibito anche a opificio dei panni (lanificio) da
cui deriva il nome moderno. Attualmente è sede della Biblioteca e
della Galleria Civica.
Das Palais wurde im 17. Jh. im Auftrag von Gianbattista d'Arco erbaut. Im
19. Jh. wird das Palais in eine Wollspinnerei umfunktioniert, daher der
Name „Palazzo dei Panni”. Derzeit sind dort die Bibliothek und die
Stadtgalerie untergebracht.

Built in the 17 century under the orders of Gianbattista d'Arco, this building

was converted into a cloth factory (woollen mills) in the 19 century which
accounts for its modern name, the cloth building. It now houses the library
and municipal art gallery.
