24 Chiesa dell'Inviolata
Costruita tra il 1603-1682 si distingue per l'armonia dei canoni tardo
rinascimentali dell'esterno e per la ricchezza barocca degli stucchi
e delle decorazioni realizzati all'interno da Davide Reti e Teofilo
Polacco. Pregevoli le pale d'altare eseguite da Palma il Giovane
(1548-1628), ad eccezione di quella del Crocifisso, opera probabile
di un discepolo di Guido Reni.
Eine der schönsten Kirchen des
Trentino. Die zwischen 1603 und
1682 errichtete Kirche besticht durch
ihre Harmonie der späten
Renaissance im Außenbereich und
ihre im Kircheninneren vorhandenen
prunkvollen Stuckarbeiten und
Verzierungen im Barockstil von
Davide Reti und Teofilo Polacco.
Bewundernswert sind die Altarbilder,
Werke von Palma il Giovane (1548-
1628), mit Ausnahme des Kreuzes,
vermutlich das Werk eines Schülers
von Guido Reni.
This is one of the loveliest churches
in the Trentino area. Built between
1603-1682, it is distinctive for the
harmony of the late Renaissance
style of the exterior and the baroque
richness of the stucco work and
decorations in the interior by Davide
Reti and Teofilo Polacco. There are
remarkable altarpieces by Palma il
Giovane (1548-1628), although the
Crucifix was probably executed by a
disciple of Guido Reni.
25 Chiesa di San Michele
Menzionata nel XII secolo in riferimento ai rapporti fra la città e il
vescovo, nei primi del Trecento ospitò le prediche di Fra Dolcino.
Dopo diversi interventi si presenta ora con un'aula angusta e una
ridotta abside circolare. Nel giardinetto ombreggiato da cipressi
una lapide ricorda il vecchio cimitero della città dove era sepolto il
pittore Craffonara.
In der Kirche, die erstmals im 12. Jh. erwähnt wird,
predigte in den ersten Jahren des 14. Jh.
Fra Dolcino. Von der Kirche bleibt heute ein enger
Kirchenraum und eine verkleinerte runde
Altarnische. Im von Zypressen beschatteten
Garten erinnert eine Gedenktafel an den
ehemaligen Friedhof der Stadt, in dem der
Kunstmaler Craffonara seine letzte Ruhestätte fand.

Mentioned in the 12 century with reference to
relations between the town and the bishop, Fra

Dolcino preached here in the early 14 century.
After many modifications over the years it has
now a narrow chamber and a reduced circular
apse. In a garden shaded by cypresses, a plaque
recalls the old cemetery of the town where the
painter Craffonara was buried.
