Maria Assunta
Venne costruita in
epoca barocca
(1728) demolendo
l'antica chiesa
romanica. L'interno,
a navata unica, ospita
nove altari e la
cappella del Suffragio
con pregevoli stucchi
e una Madonna
lignea del 1488.
Alle spalle dell'altare
maggiore si può
ammirare la pala
dell'Assunta del
pittore rivano
Giuseppe Craffonara
(1790-1837), del
quale la chiesa Sie wurde, nach dem Abriss einer romanischen
conserva anche la Kirche, 1728 während des Barocks errichtet. Das
bella tela
aus einem Kirchenschiff bestehende
dell'Addolorata. Kircheninnere birgt neun Altäre und die Kapelle
Nell'adiacente „del Suffragio“ mit wertvollen Stuckarbeiten und
piazzetta, dove
einer Madonnenfigur aus Holz (1488). An der
Rückseite des Hochaltars ein sehenswertes
sorgeva una
Altarbild, mit Marienmotiv, des aus Riva
cappella, è visibile il
stammenden Kunstmalers Giuseppe Craffonara
busto a ricordo
(1790-1837). Sein Werk ist auch das
dell'artista e la copia wunderschöne Gemälde der Schmerzensmutter.

This church was built during
the baroque period (1728) by
demolishing a far older
Romanesque church. The
interior with its single nave, has
nine altars and the chapel of
Suffrage with valuable stucco
work and a wooden Madonna
from 1488. Behind the main
altar there is an altarpiece with
the Assumption by the Riva
artist Giuseppe Craffonara
(1790-1837), who also painted
the lovely Our Lady of Sorrows
which can be seen in the
church. A bust
commemorating the artist can
be seen in the adjacent square
where there used to be a
chapel as well as a copy of a
valuable Roman basin the
original of which is in the
Museo Civico.
