Arte & cultura: due passi tra la storia
Sie war eine der wichtigsten Kirchen der Stadt, schon im 13. Jh.,
zusammen mit dem angrenzenden Krankenhaus, erwähnt. Zu Beginn des
15. Jh. wird sie der Bruderschaft der „Battuti”, auch als “Disciplini”
bezeichnet, anvertraut. Nach ihrer Entweihung im Jahr 1914 diente sie
zunächst als Lager und später als Verbindungstunnel zwischen der alten
und der neuen Stadt. Teile ihrer ehemaligen Kirchenausstattung befinden
sich heute im Stadtmuseum.
This church, dedicated to Saint Joseph, was one of the most important

churches in the town and was mentioned in the 13 century together with
th
the adjacent hospital. In the early 15 century, it was given to the
Confraternity of the Flagellants, also known as the Disciplines.
Deconsecrated and turned into a storage space in 1914, it was later
converted into a gallery to connect the old town with the new one. Part of
the original fixtures and fittings can be found in the town museum, the
Museo Civico.
19 Piazza delle Erbe
È stata realizzata nel primo
dopoguerra per destinarla a
piazza del mercato demolendo
alcune case danneggiate dalle
bombe. Affacciato sulla piazza il
loggiato del pesce. Il progetto è
di Enrico Odorizzi che si è forse
ispirato allo stile di Giancarlo
Maroni.
Nach dem ersten Weltkrieg und dem
Abriss einiger, durch Bomben
zerstörten Häuser, sollte dieser Platz
als Marktplatz fungieren. Am Platz
befindet sich der „Loggiato del
Pesce“, ein Projekt von Enrico
Odorizzi, der sich, so hat es
zumindest den Anschein, am Stil
von Giancarlo Maroni inspirierte.
This piazza was built after the War as
a market square and some houses
which had been damaged by
bombs were demolished. The fish
arcade faces onto the square and
the design was by Enrico Odorizzi
who may have been inspired by the
style of Giancarlo Maroni.
20 Palazzo Lutti Salvadori, Palazzo Maffei,
Palazzo Menghin, Palazzo Martini
Dimore aristocratiche disposte lungo il corso che dall'odierna
piazza Garibaldi conduce in piazza 3 Novembre. Nel palazzo
Lutti Salvadori è ora situata la biblioteca comunale.
Adelspalais, die die Prachtstraße säumen, die vom heutigen Piazza
Garibaldi zum Piazza 3 Novembre führt. Im Palazzo Lutti Salvadori ist heute
die Stadtbibliothek untergebracht.
These houses of the nobility are located along the thoroughfare which
leads from the modern day piazza Garibaldi to piazza 3 Novembre.
Palazzo Lutti Salvadori now houses the town library.
